Heya! I'm back again! I'm sorry I don't do more updates than I usually do and only do them in a couple of days later, I'm just lodt as to how long I want this story to be.

Ash's POV...

I dial in Gemma's number, but it goes to voicemail.

"Hey, Gem. About the other thing you walked in on during our movie night- can we talk about that? Call me back as soon as possible," I hover above the send voicemail button and just as I decide not to send it, my finger's grip slips and I accidentally press yes.

Whoops.

I wait for a response, knowing it'll come soon because she always has her phone on her, and she carries like, five, portable chargers.

Or three.

But as I don't get a response thirty minutes later, I have begun to panic.

The first person I call is Caspar.

"Hi, Ash, um, I'm kind of bus-"

"Gemma's not responding to my text or call. She hasn't been for the last half hour."

"What?" He says, startled. "She'd never do that. What's that?" He murmers to someone in the background.

All I can make out is 'phone' and 'broken'.

"Joe says that she might have broken her phone," Caspar informs.

"She has her old Nokia on her too, though," I say, concerned.

Michael comes in my room, but I hold up a finger to signal 'wait'.

"Fučk. I think I know where she might be," says Joe's clearer voice through the phone, indicating he must've snatched it from Caspar. "She was out with Tanya, right?"

"Yeah, but-"

"On Eltham High Street, there was a car-crash today. Two people, both girls."

"Fućk," I curse. "I'll call the hospital and ask."

I cut off the call.

"What happened?" Michael asks.

"Gemma. She's not responding and there was an accident. I just hope it wasn't her. I'm going to confirm with the h-hospital," I say, fighting back tears.

Gemma's really important to me. She's like my sister, and we're really close. I couldn't stand her dying.

Michael sits next to me, and hugs me, taking the shaking iPhone from my hand and calling the hospital.

(Cant remember her last name so gonna say clarke)

"How may I help you?" A cheery voice calls out.

"Hi, I was wondering to know if the two patients from the accident on the High Street were admitted in?" Michael speaks clearly.

"Yes, they were. Are you family?"

"Yes. Are the patients Gemma Clarke and Tanya Burr? I'm her brother," I speak up.

Michael sends me a look to say what are you doing? But I ignore him.

"I'm sorry for the inconvienience, there is only a Tanya Burr admitted, along with Mrs. Louise," she replies.

"Okay, thank you," I sigh in relief.

As soon as I disconnect, I frown.

Where could she be?

Suddenly my screen lights up indicating a call.
