"If I'm being honest to you, meekle, it's weird," I admitted to Mikey, who was on his last day at the hospital ward.

"What's weird about it?" He questions, sipping his coffee.

"Well, I've kind of grown used to the fact that I need to push away my feelings for Luke and keep them hidden. I want to tell him how much I love him, I just- I don't- I'm not-"

"-used to it?" Michael guessed.

"Yeah," I said, glancing over at the sleeping boy.

"You already told him you loved him didn't you?" He reminds.

"I did. I adore holding his hand in public but we usually get interrupted by some random girl on the streets begging to take a picture with the Luke Hemmings," I chuckle. "How's Calum?"

"You'll get used to it, I promise," he says, smiling encouragingly. "Calum's great. I miss him, he's working again."

"He honestly overworks. We should have like a proper road trip, all four of us," I sigh.

"I agree. I think your boyfriend's waking up now," he nods hos head in Luke's direction.

Luke yawns and flutters his eyes open. "Ashy? What time is it?"

"It's nearly six, Lukey," I respond, raising my head from where it was nestled on his chest. "Visiting hours will close soon, I guess."

"Michael, you'll be OK here until morning?" Luke rasps.

Michael nods. "I'll be fine. Go home, you two. Luke can stay over or Ash can," he suggests.

Luke nods in agreement. "We best be leaving now."

"Call me if you need anything," I say, worried for his well being.

"Will do."

Luke holds my hand tightly as we walk, step in step with each other.

"Hey, Ash," he says as we get into a bit of a crowd.

I hum in response.

"You wanna grab a coffee?" He suggests.

"Yeah, sure," I say, not paying attention das he leads me into a random restaurant.

"Ashton!" An all too familiar voice calls.

"Gemma?" I say in surprise. "Oh, I didn't realise we came in here, it's been so long!"

She hugs me and glances at Luke.
