Long chapter!!!!! Plus a cliffhanger so I apologize in advance. New chapter coming soon so I don't keep you waiting too long. Love you guys!
-MirandaI left Damon and each step I took was more and more pain that hit my chest bringing tears to my eyes. Klaus didn't look happy and in fact no one really did. My eyes started to burn because the tears were drying in the almost dark night. The sun was setting as we reached the wolves and they had gotten worse. One girl was shivering and crying blood as she looked at one man who was bleeding out of all his wholes on his face. I was disgusted by the scene in front of me and wanted to look no more. I took a walk and of course Klaus stopped me like he has stopped anything good to happen to me.
I kept walking yet I heard his yells but they didn't stop me. I was tripping over myself when I felt an arm tugging me.
"Don't touch me!" I shouted.
I turned around to see Klaus standing there with a guilty look and a frown on his sad face. He opened his mouth and began to say something but no words had come out. I looked at his face to see any trace of remorse but the only remorse he had was none.
He was just upset that I was distraught but that did not mean a single damn thing to me.
"What do you want Klaus?" I asked.
He still had nothing to say. He was beginning to tear up and so was I but I didn't expect him to.
"Do you want my misery? Do you want me to spend everyday in pain? Well you got it," I said and walked away not wanting anything else from the man. I could hear his pleas but nothing could stop me, not now.Damon's P.O.V.
I had taken another sip of my bourbon, sitting in front of the fire thinking about Brooklyn. She was still stuck in an eternity of misery and there was no hope in getting her back. Klaus had no intention of letting her return home but I still kept imagining it. It was happy but then after the image was gone, a bitter taste filled the air that I breathe. This kept cycling for hours and hours till I finished the whole bottle of what kept me warm, bourbon.
"Damon?" A voice that was not Brooklyn asked. I didn't bother turning around since I knew who it was and I had no interest in talking to her.
"Go away, Andy," I spoke finally. I knew she was not going to leave easily which would mean bad things for her. I could control myself right now and there was no telling what I could do. I could feel all my humanity drifting away every second that passed me by.
"What's wrong?" She asked. I was starting to get angry since she was asking questions. This was not the place and definitely not hers. She is mere distraction that is not working which makes me even more angry.
I jumped up and sped to her. She gasped in terror making me smile in victory. That's how it should be, everyone should be afraid of me and my actions.
"Damon, you don't look good."
I decided to give the girl one last chance to run away and forget this whole thing. She looked scared and I knew she was borderline terrified.
"Leave," I hissed and emphasized every noise. She shook her head no and I started to laugh at her stupidness. I grabbed her throat and pinned her to the wall resulting in a scream of terror. Her eyes begged me for her release but there was no chance I would let her leave. She smelled too damn good and I could hear the blood moving in her veins.
Her heart pumped fast as the fear escalated her breathing.
"You didn't listen, Andy." I touched her cheek making her breath hitch and her heart skip a beat.
I started kissing her nick and nibbled on her skin trying to get a taste before I bit down. She started to whimper as I did so. I bit down on her and began sucking the life out of her as she screamed in pain. I felt a force push me away from her much to my dismay. I got up quick to see Stefan in a protective stance in front of defenseless Andy.
"Stay out of this Stefan!" I hiss. Stefan looks at my face that was covered in poor Andy's blood. Stefan was getting thirsty but unlike me, Stefan had pretty good control now a days.
Stefan turned around to face Andy, compelling her to forget about our displeasing talk.
"Damon?" A girl called out. I was hoping it to be Brooklyn but was overly disappointed to find Elena looking at me from the hall. She stared at me like the monster that I knew I was and I didn't appreciate it. But I wasn't going to hurt her because Stefan would kill me and she was Brooklyn's best friend.
"You're a backstabber, Elena. You kissed her boyfriend and you could have killed her in the sacrifice. You're a terrible friend so stop acting like you care," I said harshly. She ran upstairs in tears as Stefan ran up to her to comfort her. I stood standing in the living room with a confused Andy and a blood smeared rug. My life was a mess without her.
