Jason's p.o.v

"Jason," Sam said walking into the back yard. I was standing facing the woods in hopes that my mind would come up with some plan to bring my children back.

"What?" I snapped looking at her.

"I figured you might want someone to talk too?" She said clearing her throat.

"I," I sighed and looked at her.

Sam and I haven't been close in a while and that is mostly because of Miley. I don't think that Sam understands how much I care about Miley. Sam doesn't understand how I could love someone like Miley but that is because she doesn't know Miley the way I do. Sam has never seen the two of us together. I would try to explain myself to her but I don't have too. Just like Sam doesn't have to explain her love for Denver.

"I know that this has been a difficult day for you." Sam sighed placing a hand on my shoulder.

"Yeah," I chuckled and starred off into the woods that were in front of us.

"Look, once you get the kids Denver and I will help you raise them." Sam said.

"What?" I asked looking at her.

"C'mon, its not like Miley is a stable mom. Hell, she didn't even tell you about the kids until now. Until she needed you. If it were you who they took do you honestly think she would be pulling out all the stops?" Sam chuckled. As if her statement was the best statement to ever be made. As if she knew Miley the way I do.

"How dare you," I spat looking down at her. I felt something inside begin to build up faster and faster. I felt as if I was going to explode.

"I am trying to look out for you," Sam said shaking her head. As if it was obvious and I was being stupid.

"No," I countered in a louder tone. "You are trying to tear my family apart." I said as my voice cracked.

"I am your family, not her." Sam laughed shaking her head.

"Enough," I said pushing her off of me. "You will not treat Miley like that. You do not know her and you do not know what she has been through." I defended.

"Seriously, Jason?" She laughed. "Miley wouldn't be here if it were you and everyone knows that." She laughed. I rolled my eyes knowing Miley would be here if it were me.

"What is your problem?" I asked. I felt anger begin to boil within me. I was mad at my own sister and I couldn't understand that, I couldn't understand her.

"My problem? My problem is that everyone is so blind when it comes to her. She is a liar and I don't get what anyone even sees in her. It is disappointing to she that you have fallen under her spell." Sam laughed.

"What is going on out here?" Lewis asked.

"Sam is voicing her opinion in a matter that is none of her concern." I spat.

"It is my concern. They are my niece and nephew." Sam laughed.

"Why can't you seem to keep my name out of your mouth?" Miley asked in a disgusted tone. I took a few steps away from Sam and ran my hand roughly through my hair. If looks could kill, Sam would be dead.

"Why can't you seem to keep your legs closed?" Sam laughed turning to look at Miley. I don't think I have ever seen Miley so mad. "I sure hope little Isabella doesn't turn out like you and as long as I am around, that won't happen." Sam laughed. Miley's eye's went completely dark and everyone was suddenly silent.

"Sam," I said lowly with anger filling my voice.

"You can't tell me what to say or do." Sam spat looking at me. "Those kids are better off with me." She huffed.
