[Taylor]

I texted Kat while Hayley and I had been eating breakfast. Or when I was eating breakfast, really. She finished her food really fast. She's a fast eater. Maybe I'm just a slow one. Hm. Whatever, it's not important.

But she had told me she was available at the time I asked, that being 8 PM. Along with her, I asked her to check with Josh, Dan, and David to see if they're available. Though Josh is busy, Dan and David both said they'd love to hang out with us. I didn't tell Kat the relationship between Hayley and I, simply told her I was bringing someone. She didn't ask any questions.

We worked out where we'd be meeting, which we chose would be her apartment. That's convenient for David and Dan, considering they live directly across the hall from her. Also, I still haven't had the pleasure of meeting Kat's roommate, Jenna. She'd spoken of her several times, but I never have met her. Maybe even Mr. Josh Franceschi will make an appearance.

Hayley seemed excited when I told her of tonight's plans. I want her to meet my friends. Honestly, I don't even know if it's really being friends. But they hang out with me and stuff, so it's not all that bad. Just because them and I haven't gotten to the level of closeness where I'm able to complain to them and know I won't be judged doesn't mean I don't consider us to be friends.

But all of that is beside the point. I'm currently curled up on the couch, Hayley's body and my own very close. Our legs are tangled, and I'm sure that if I even tried to move, there would be an issue. I adore this closeness, though.

We're currently entangled as we watch The Shining. She told me she hadn't watched this movie in its entirety, and I was completely dumbfounded. She said that she wasn't too good with scary movies, but she had also told me that Pet Sematary is one of her favorite movies. Which, of course, that isn't the scariest of movies, but still. But both movies are based off Stephen King novels, so why not?

Every time something remotely scary takes place, she holds me just a little bit closer. When one character came took a look in the mirror, to see the word REDRUM backwards was MURDER, well, Hayley got a little scared. She let out a small gasp, shaking her head some.

"Turn it off," she practically begged me. I reached for the remote before she could get to it. I sat up, raising it above my head. Hayley's short, so I have a height advantage. Unless she stands up, of course.

She pouts, though, and that makes me feel guilty. I lower the remote, shutting the TV off. She gives my chest a little shove before leaning forward and pressing a quick kiss to my nose.

"You have a cute nose," she comments. What a weird compliment. That is a compliment, right? Not like having an un-cute nose would totally throw someone's entire appearance off. Maybe a little, or if it were really bad, then yeah. I'm thinking too much. As usual. "Little button nose," she says and reaches forward to poke my nose, and then gives it a pinch.

Her hand pulls away after a few seconds of the pinching. She stands up, which makes me frown. I enjoyed being so close to her.

"Don't be pouting. I need to shower, look decent. It's almost 6, and aren't we meeting up with your friends at 8? I take a long time to get ready, you know. So don't you be barging in while I'm showering, York." She pointed a finger at me, squinting one eye to give me the deadliest glare I have ever witnessed.

"Come on, Taylor. We're running late," Hayley says, clapping a little bit. I overestimated my ability to shower, dress, and do everything else quickly. I hopped into the shower at 7:50, when we were planning on leaving at 8. Well, we can be fashionably late.

"Hold on a second!" I demand, hands running through my hair to play with it a little bit. Not like it ever even stays, no matter what I do with it. I should put hair gel in it to keep it the way I like, but that stuff ends up looking like dandruff after a while and it's hard to remove.

"It's 8:15, Taylor. We're already late," she frowns. I return the frown and wrap my arm around her shoulder. Her lips curl up into a bit of a smile, as much as she's trying to hide it. But I can see right through her, and she's adorable.

"Come on in, Taylor and...friend..." Kat says after opening the door for us.

"Hayley," I say, looking down at my petite girlfriend. She nods, extends her hand, and shakes my friend's hand.

The night isn't all too adventurous. We drink. A lot. Actually, I don't. I drink half a beer, that's it. But my girlfriend sure as hell does drink a whole lot.

One minute, Hayley's shy and nervous and quiet. The next, she's got multiple drinks in her system and seems more comfortable than ever before. David and Dan both seem to like her. I meet Jenna, Kat's roommate, who I discover is from Australia. We get along, making conversation over how we're both so far from home, and very homesick. It makes me feel better to know I'm not alone.

Only when we're about to leave, Josh joins the party, which results in us staying a while longer. I was fine with just saying hello to him, making some small talk, and then heading back to my place. But Hayley decides to instead have a full on conversation with him. They get to talking about deep shit. Josh talks about art, considering he's an artist, Hayley going on about poetry and writing.

She went from being a giggling, drunken mess to being an emotional, drunken mess. But finally, Kat says she needs to head to bed. It's around midnight by then and I have to practically drag my girlfriend out of the building. She continues to whine over wanting to stay, which is terribly adorable.

Midway into the drive back to my place, she leans over the console that separates her and I. It's completely random, but her lips are against my neck, and I'm squirming in my seat.

Her lips part from my skin. "Are we almost there?" she asks, before her lips return to my skin. She's sucking intently on the skin, only increasing my arousal further and further with each second that passes.

"Yeah, yes. Almost. Almost back to my place." Words, Taylor, words. Use them. She doesn't stop, not until I pull into a parking spot. Saying her name multiple times, I still failed to catch her attention. So I had to move back a little, much to her dismay.

Now that we're here, I hurry along with her up to my floor. While trying to unlock the door to my apartment, I drop my keys. Good job, definitely impressing her. I doubt me dropping my keys would be what turns her off, though.

Once we walk into the room, I shut the door behind me. I'm immediately pushed against the wall beside the door. Hayley stares up at me, bottom lip caught between her teeth. After a moment of what looks to be admiration, she's able to speak.

"I want you," she whispers.
