Complicated

Denise's POV

We were about to leave the restaurant when I realized I forgot my bag. I told Seal to wait a while and I went back to get it. Nancy ,the waitress, is there and has my bag in her hand.

"Here you go sweetie. May I just say that you must be really special to Seal. He hasn't brought any girl here. Not even his first love, Hannah. I'm glad he's gotten over her and found someone new." She says with a warm smile

I smile at her and say thank you. I go back to the car with a big smile on my face.

"What did she tell you?" Seal says

"Ohhhhhh nothing" I say

"I hope it's not something embarrassing" He says

"Nahhh. She just said that I was the first girl you ever brought there" I say

"Well yeah. I was waiting for someone special to bring there" He says and holds my hand making me blush at his words and actions

We reach this forest and he turns to me

"So I'm gonna have to blindfold you..." He says. I groan but nod. He puts on a bandana over my eyes  and gently takes my hand.  We walk for a while when we suddenly stop.

"Okay so I'm going to remove the blindfold now." He says and I feel the cloth removed from my eyes. I open my eyes and see a pickup truck decorated with pillows and blankets.

"Seal...." I say. I'm speechless. This is all so perfect.

"Do you? Do you like it?" He says scratching the back of his neck

"I love it!" I hug him tightly and he me back.

We lay on the blankets and pillows and he opens up his laptop to play Netflix.

"What do you wanna watch?" He says

"Uhmmmmmm Can we watch The Fault In Our Stars?" I ask

"Sure!" He says making me surprised since no guy ever wants to watch a girly movie. I smile at him and lean my head on his shoulder. He wraps his arm around me as the movie starts.

We stopped watching movies a while ago and we're just looking at the stars...while cuddling.

"Today was great." He says

"Why?" I ask

"You're  in my arms. I finally get to call you mine. The date went well. I'd say this is a great day." He says and I can't help but smile at his sweetness

"You know what will make it even better?" He says and I look at him confused

"What?" I ask facing him

"This."

He pulls my face closer to his and....

He kisses me and my world just spins. It was soft and sweet and filled with so much passion. It was gentle and it was addicting. He held me close and I loved being in his arms. I loved the feeling of beings with him. We pulled apart to catch our breath and we just stare into each others eyes with so much awe.

"I've been waiting so long to do that." He says and I cuddle into him.

This is the best date ever.
