Seal and Denise left us alone so Chris and I were just sitting down together and talking.
"Hey do you remember on our first date we went to the park and had a picnic" He says and I smiles nodding
"Yeah and we got home late cause you got lost" I say smiling
"And then our next date we were supposed to go to the beach" He says and I cut him off
"But you got us lost AGAIN and we didn't go anywhere and just ended up going back home once we finally found out where we're going. Did I mention we arrive late at night" I say and he
laughs
"So the truth is I didn't get us lost. I knew where we were going all the time. I just took the Long Long Long Way Home." he says and I look at him with wide eyes
"Why???" i ask
"Well I didn't really want that moment to end with you so I got us "lost" ,I drove slow and just used up the whole day so I could be with you." He says smiling sheepishly
"So you kept getting us lost and purposely drove slow just so you could hang out with me" I say with a big smile
"Yup! Cause we didn't hang out much before and I really enjoyed being with you sooooo yeah I took the Long Way Home" He says and I smile and lay my head on his shoulder
"If you could wish for anything right now, what would you wish for" He asks and I smile
"I don't know...what would you wish for?" I ask looking up at him
"I'd wish for you to be my girlfriend" He says and I smile
"You really know how to treat a girl" I say and he winks
"Only for you love. Do you think my wish will come true?" He asks and I smile and nod
"Your wish just came true" I say and he smiles and kisses my cheek
"I'd love to kiss you right now but I'll have to wait till your ready" He says and hugs me close
I am so damn lucky.
