"Logan!"
We were greeted as soon as we walked through the doors. The man that stood before me was dressed expensive with enough hair gel to keep his hair styled for years. He has giant, shiny diamonds in both ears, and the whitest smile that made me wonder why they too weren't glistening in the light. He meant business, and his look matched the part of a millionaire. They exchanged a hug, and then his eyes were on me.
"So...This is Amanda, my talented fiancé I was telling you about," Logan wrapped an arm around my side and pulled me over. "Amanda, this is Alex."
"Hi," I smiled and extended my arm, "It's nice to meet you, sir."
He shook my hand firmly.
"It's a pleasure. I hear you have big dreams, eh?"
"I don't know really."
Alex chuckled lightly.
"Well, lets hear this voice of yours, just step inside the booth, put on the headphones, and sing into the mic," he instructed.
"Okay," I did as told.
It felt awkward as both of them watched every move I made.
I sung my song and Alex told me to step out.
"You are amazing!" he complimented.
"Thanks, but I don't know, because what about my baby?" I worried.
"Here, I'll get you a gig somewhere around here and you at least try. If you like it, you like it. If not then that's fine. Deal?"
"Sure, I guess."
They cheered and Logan gave me a big hug.
"Bye Alex, thank you!" we waved as we walked out.
"Are you excited?" Logan asked as we got in his car.
"I don't know really. I'm just so worried about our little girl."
