Chapter 60 - Amanda

I rolled around and opened my eyes. Around me was a vacant bedroom that I did not recognize. Next to me in bed was Alexa, wide awake. 

"Morning," I spoke.

"Morning," she slowly got up and stretched.

"What are we doing today?" I asked.

"I don't know. I don't know about you but I'm not going home yet."

I could tell she's still a little mad at Carlos. I'm still upset at Logan so nothing on her though.

"Good Morning girls," Alexa's mother, walked in.

"Morning." we both replied.

She walked up to me and looked at me like I was a puppy of some sort.

"You're having a baby!" She babied me.

"Uh, yeah..."

"How many months?"

"Like a little over six and a half." I answered them like it was nothing.

"Congratulations!" she smiled.

"Thank you!" I smiled back.

My stupid phone broke the whole conversation so I walked up and looked at the name. Surprisingly it wasn't Logan, it was an unknown number.

"Should I get it?" I asked.

"Go for it," Alexa smiled.

I clicked answer and asked who it was.

"This is Alex, from the recording studio!" he said.

"Oh, hey. Why did you call?"

"I wanted to tell you I got you a gig tonight at seven, its at the pre-fall festival," he said.

"Okay, great! I'll be there!" I agreed.

We hung up and I turned to Alexa.

"What about clothes?" I worriedly asked.

"We can drive by and see if Logan's car is there?" She thought.

"Okay."

"Let's go," we started walking to her car.

After a long car drive we finally made it to Logan's house and discovered no car.

Alexa pulled up and we got out. Once we reached the door I grabbed my key and opened the door.

I went upstairs and packed a small bag that would last me a little over a week.

"Okay, I'm ready," I walked out to where Alexa waited.

"Great. Lets get out of here before Logan comes home," she rushed.

We got back into her car and she drove off.

"So, where's your gig later?" She broke the weird silence.

"It's at the pre-fall festival downtown, you know...to celebrate fall."
