"Hey Amanda?" I knocked on her door.
After waiting five minutes I looked all around her front porch looking for a key. When I finally found one I quickly opened her door.
"Amanda?" I yelled through the house.
I jogged up the stairs and into the bedroom. There she was, laying on the floor, softly crying, with a broken laptop next to her.
"Amanda, are you okay?" I ran up to her and lifted her into my arms.
She nodded, lying. Tears were still streaming down her swollen red cheeks.
"What's wrong?"
"Go to your Twitter," she said.
I unlocked my phone and opened Twitter. I immediately knew what was wrong after viewing the post at the top of my feed. My mouth dropped as I observed the picture tweeted of a boy and a girl kissing. You know it's not just any boy though.
"I just don't know what to think," she sighed. "I don't even want to see his face."
"Why don't we both go stay at my parents house. I know they'd let us - no problem," I offered.
"Sure, I have no where else." She agreed.
I helped her up and we went straight to my car.
