I was woken up by the lovely alarm clock next to the bed. Note my sarcasm there.
I stretched and slowly rose even though I didn't want to I had to.
"Morning!" Kendall walked in.
"Your awake?" I asked.
He nodded and chuckled as he invited me to breakfast.
"Sure, thanks." I accepted and walked down the stairs with him.
"Are you excited for your new house?" He asked as he handed me a plate of eggs.
"I don't know really..."
After we ate I went up the stairs and grabbed my suitcases. Once I got ahold of them I went back down and Kendall helped me put the suitcases in my car. We got them all settled and I drove off.
"Bye." I sadly waved.
"Bye, I'll visit sometime." he waved back.
I nodded and his house was sadly out of view.
My house came into view and I pulled into my new driveway.
The house was a little old looking, much unlike Kendall's, and was painted white with the paint peeling off the walls a little. I sighed and made my way to the back of my car where my suitcases were. My suitcases wheeled behind me as I walked up to my new house. I fumbled through my keys to find the correct one and slid it into the keyhole.
As I opened my doors it revealed a semi-dirty living room. Typical for a new house.
I had no furniture, just some clothes and a couple little things. Logan and I were going to go buy some stuff to get me in my feet since I've been saving my money for quite some time now.
I walked inside an looked around. I had never seen this house before but it was the cheapest within my budget so I just bought it. Well, it was a bit bad. Just kinda, you know, needs improvement....
I rolled my suitcase to my new bedroom and looked around at the white walls, white lace curtains, fading dark wood floors, and the mirror attached to the closet with a few cracks here and there. Lets just say... its been through some rough times.
I slowly took out one by one piece of clothing and attached them to the hangers I bought to hang up.
Suddenly there was a knock. I walked on the creaky floor all the way to the door and opened it to a familiar face.
"Hey, Logan!" I smiled.
"Hey!" he smiled back.
"C'mon in." I gestured.
He nodded a "thank you" and came inside.
"Yeah, I know, it's a little rusty.,." I chuckled.
"Yeah..." he chuckled along.
"Can I help you get settled in?" He asked.
"Sure, thanks." I smiled.
"No problem."
I showed him to my room and he sat to where I was putting my clothes on hangers.
"So, this is all you got?" He looked at my suitcase.
"Yeah, my dad kept all the furniture when he moved and I moved in with Kendall."
"We have a ton of shopping to do!" he said causing me to laugh lightly.
"Tomorrow?" I asked.
"Sure we can go tomorrow." He agreed.
I hung up all the clothes I had already had hung up in the closet and say back down with Logan.
"Amanda, I really don't want you to live here..." he admitted.
"Why? What's wrong?"
"I don't want you to have to go through all the stress of buying new furniture and cleaning up and all that."
"Where is this headed?" I warned.
"I want you to live with me." he said seriously.
"I don't know if I'm ready, I mean, I do and all but I jus moved out of Kendall's-,"
"I know you did I'm sorry I shouldn't have asked." He trailed off.
"No, Logan, sure." I finally agreed.
He smiled and held out his hand to help me up.
I grabbed his hand an made my way to my closet to gather my clothes.
"Thank you, Logan." I smiled as we rolled my suitcases out of the house.
"Anything for you." he winked.
