As Mary stepped into the corridor, she couldn't believe how plain it was. Compared to her room, it seemed almost like a completely new world! The walls were painted a dull grey, with a couple pictures here and there, all portraits of people she didn't seem to recognize. The weirdest thing was, that the hallway was covered in doors.   At the end of the hallway, the rabbit hopped on.

"Wait for me, mister rabbit!" Mary exclaimed. But the rabbit didn't seem to hear her.

Mary chased after him.

To her surprise, it was quite easy to catch up to the rabbit.

"How odd. Aren't rabbits supposed to be quick?" Mary thought.

"Ah, so you've decided to follow me." The rabbit said.

"Where are we going, mister rabbit?"

"You'll see. Follow me. And please, call me Wisp."

"Wisp is it? Alright then. Lead the way!"

Suddenly, Wisp shot forward. Mary had a hard time keeping up.

"How peculiar." Mary thought. "It was super slow at first, and now it's super fast."

They came to a stop at a door. Mary couldn't tell if it was the 78th one from the right, or the 43rd one from the left.

"In here." Wisp said.

As they entered, Mary was amazed at the contrast.

"How can a hallway so bland lead into a room that is so...beautiful?"

The room was covered in astonishing colors, ranging from red to pink to white to orange. Hearts were strewn all around the room. And in the middle of the room? A throne, suited for a queen. Covered in jewelry and sparkles, it was a throne Mary dreamed of sitting on. However, someone...or perhaps someTHING was on it. And how odd it was! A floating...frown? How did that work?

"Ah, my lady, that is no ordinary frown. That is the frown of the Herchies Cat."

"Um...don't you mean the Chesire Cat?"

"Oh, I forgot. My lady, you have been unconscious for nearly 4 years now. Many things have changed."

"4 YEARS?!"

Mary couldn't believe it. How had she been unconscious for 4 years! It was all inconceivable!

"Wait..." She thought. "Does that have something to do with my dream?"

Before she could ask them exactly what happened,  the Herchies Cat appeared.

"Indeed Mary, you have been unconscious for a long time. And that is precisely why we brought you here." the Herchies Cat said.

"But where is here?" Mary inquired.

"Your castle. You may not remember it, but it once used to be an amazing palace, filled with beautiful objects and shining walls. It was a place of glory. Unfortunately, most of it was destroyed in the attack. The only rooms we were able to salvage were the throne room and your bedroom."

"Attack? By who? When? Does it have something to do with the fact that I was unconscious?

"Calm down. I'll tell you everything."

"After Alice escaped from your trial, Wonderland was sent into chaos. Everything was falling apart, neighbors were fighting each other, and society was destroying itself. So me and Wisp called upon Alice once again, so she could calm everything down. Or so, that's what we thought."

"You see, when Alice saw the pandemonium, she couldn't resist taking advantage of it. And take advantage she did. She stole a big piece of growth cake, and she turned into a giant. And there she went, destroying everything around her, leaving Wonderland worse then it already was. A storm quickly brewed up, and it was the worse one Wonderland has ever seen."

"However, we knew that we had to protect you. As we saw the giant about to step on you, we quickly knocked you out of the way and carried you here. However, when we looked out, Alice had shrunk. She stole some magic potion too."

"The aftermath was horrendous. Alice made all the survivors into slaves. They worked day and night, in order to construct an evil castle, one that towers over the entire town of Wonderland."

"Where is it?" Mary asked.

"Over there."

The Herchies Cat nodded his head out a window. In the distance, there stood a humongous dark castle, surrounded by storm clouds. It was dark as pitch, and ominous waves shone from it.

"How do we stop her?"

"You Mary. Only you can stop her."
