"You're up early." I cooed at Mason as he shoved food into his mouth greedily.

"Business meeting." He replied, food falling out of his mouth.

"Mason." I stated.

"Sorry love." He replied giving me a crooked smile. Rolling my eyes playfully I walked over and pecked his cheek before stealing a piece of bacon.

"You know there's more over there right?" He asked gesturing to the platter of breakfast items.

"Mhm. But it tastes better coming from you. There's something I want to talk to you about though." I said smiling innocently.

"Ok. I'm all ears. What's up?" He asked sitting his fork down to give me his undivided attention.

"How do you feel about expanding the Royals' last name?"

"Depends." He replied giving our house keeper Tia a head nod as she walked past the kitchen. The way her eyes lit up did not go unnoticed.

"Morning, Mr. and Mrs.Royals' " She said politely. Raising a hand I gestured for her to leave. This was not the time for casual chit chat. I was talking to my man. Catching my drift she bowed her head and quickly left.

"You know what I am talking about Mason, do not do that right now. I am talking about children. I think we are ready for them." I stated pouring myself a glass of orange juice.

"Honey." He started before I cut him off with a deep breath. I already knew what would leave his lips.

"Fine Mason. FINE!" I yelled slamming the glass of orange juice down, causing it to crack then stormed out of the room. He makes it nearly impossible to please him sometimes. I could soon hear his heavy footsteps chasing behind me.

"Now wait a minute Yasmine! You did not even let me get a chance to explain myself." He said firmly.

"Go ahead Mason, explain then." I replied, crossing my arms.

"I do not want you to get pregnant if that is not what you really want. Besides, I was thinking about it and you were right. A baby at this time would not be wise for neither of us. I have other things I could be focusing my time on instead."

"Oh really? Other things, or do you mean other things ?" I could not believe him right now. Just last night he wanted kids, now there is a sudden change of heart? I was not buying what he was selling in the slightest way.

"Do not go there right now Yasmine, please. It is too early for these types of accusations!"

Rolling my eyes I turned on my heels then allowed the doorman to place my jacket over my shoulders, I thanked him then stepped outside to the car that was awaiting for me. Slipping inside I instructed the driver to take me to my company's headquarters. Being around what I worked hard for always made me feel a lot better when things weren't so perfect at home.

"Good morning Mrs.Royals' " Workers said left and right. Giving them all pleasant smiles I headed to my office then called for my personal assistant November.

"Wassup homie!" She said marching into the room completely out of dress code. Laughing, I offered her a seat on one of the plush couches. Ignoring me, she plopped down on my desk instead.

That was one of the things that I loved about her, she was always doing her own thing without any worries about the future or consequences that may follow. I ran across her in a small coffee shop down in Ohio on one of my business trips with her charming yet...rude little girl Ray Ray. Her sparkling Emerald eyes made you want to forgive her every wrong, however. November and I hit it off incredibly, so I offered her a job and flew her out to LA; paying for her living arrangments until she got up on her feet, even though neither her nor her beautiful girlfriend Rhain seemed as if they needed money, I made sure they were taken cared of. I sometimes envied how their relationship fit together so well.

"Must you do that every time you come in here! Get down before someone comes in and sees you up here!" I said playfully pushing her off of my desk.

"Okay, Okay." She grinned getting off only to sit on one of the couches with her feet propped up on my expensive china table. Sighing I began to shuffle a few pieces of paperwork that had been placed on my desk this morning before I arrived; they were all different types of scripts that famous writers had sent to me, all wanting me to go over them and decide weither or not I wanted to produce them under my company.

"Why do you seem so stressed? Mason not packing that mandi-." November started before I interrupted her with a stern glare. I knew better than to get her started on this type of topic, it would never end.

"It's not that. It's.." I began letting my words trail off.

"Girl I drink Lipton or Sweetened, give me the tea bihh!" November clapped allowing her "urban" side to show.

"It's..I just feel like there's so much more that I could be doing with this company, expansion wise. And there's just so little time to get everything I see accomplished." I stated lying. I preferred to keep my personal life out of the work place or in people's minds in general. No one needs to know what goes down in your household when the doors are locked, the secrets behind them are as well.

"Hmm...welp. This is my hint to leave." She said standing up.

"Why?"

"'Cause girl, you talking about business and stuff. I wanted that juicy gossip. Keep the fancy talk for the men and women in suits." She said skipping out of my office not before grabbing a handful of lollipops from the table on the way out. Rolling my eyes, I chuckled wondering why I hired that silly girl.

"Can you adjust my pillow please." I heard Sherwin's sexy voice say to someone in his room. Sexy? Wait no. Face palming myself, I walked in with my hands filled with balloons and bears from the gift shop downstairs. I will never understand why everything costs so dang much in hospitals. The bill is already high enough, help us out with some discounted gift shop items.

"I see you're feeling better." I smiled setting his gifts down on the long brown table near his bed.

"You can say that. I'm glad you came back though." He smiled setting off those old butterflies from the very pits of my stomach. I could feel them stretching their sore dusty wings before flying haphazardly throughout me. A small pink and purple one escaped my core through my mouth then kissed my cheeks, leaving a reddened hue. Was I..blushing?

"Whatever. The longer you stay in here is the higher your bill will be. I just wanted to see if I could get you out today before the rates go up." I said side eyeing him trying to hide my glee that he was happy to see me.

"Like you care about how much things cost. I peeped your cute little house." He replied taking a sip from his milk carton.

"Little?" I smirked. Rolling his eyes, he motioned for me to come over to him. Hesitant for a moment I made my way over to him.

"Gimmie a hug." He stated struggling to open both arms.

"Stop before you hurt yourself." I laughed giving him a hug, careful not to hurt his injured arm.

"Oh great you're here Mrs.Royals', he seems to be doing just fine. There's no reason to hold him further so if you would sign these release papers and listen along with him while I instruct on how each medicine should be administered he will be on his way. Just give me a moment to go retrieve the papers." Sherwin's doctor said interrupting our moment.

"It looks like you will be getting out today after all." I smiled.
