"Easy does it." I said as I helped Sherwin into the bed in one of our many guest bedrooms. He would sleep in the west wing of the manor along with Mason and I. He made sure to enforce the rule that only the maids were to be sent on this side, to grant us some type of privacy.

"Thank you. Are you sure your little hubby is cool with this? He seemed pretty salty." Sherwin laughed.

"He will get over it." I said fluffing his pillow then looked him over. He was still a little bruised in the face but now sported a large white cast.

"If you say so. What do you like to do for fun now?" He inquired.

"What do you mean by now? I am still the same person as before."

"Except for the crazy amount of money you have now. Just look at this room." He said grinning.

" He said grinning

Scanning the bedroom quickly I smiled at the simplicity of it. Walking over to the glass French doors, I opened them to allow the freshness of outside to enter the room, then took a seat on the sofa. We watched each other in silence for a few moments before I remembered his question.

"I enjoy going to the spa."

"Spa? So you fancy huh?" He asked chuckling.

"You can say that. We have one outback if you would like to go. Soothe those muscles, actually I think that would be a wonderful idea. I'll have one of the help guide you down there." I replied standing up and walking towards the bedroom door.

"Sounds cool. Where are you going though?" He asked with a slight pout.

"I have grown folks business to attend to." I replied with a smirk.

"But you just got here. Spend time wi-"

"Madam." Danielle, our staff manager interrupted, awkwardly. She was the only exception to our maids only in the west wing rule.

"What is it!" Sherwin snapped, angry that his alone time with me was over.

"Sherwin. Don't raise your voice at her, I'm sure she had a reason for coming in here. Danielle?" I asked, giving her the hint to explain her appearance.

"There's an issue with Master Mason, please follow me." She said giving Sherwin an apologetic smile then stepped into the hallway.

"I will be back later." I said then followed Danielle further down the hallway to the last door which was the door to the bedroom Mason and I shared. Holding my breath I stepped in after she opened the French doors for me.

"Mason?" I asked looking around.

"He's in the bathroom." She replied looking somber.

"Thank you. You are dismissed." Nodding she stepped out of the room then closed the door behind her. Walking swiftly across the vast room, I braced myself before entering our bathroom.

"MASON NO!" I yelled, running in and snatching his head up from the cocaine line that was made on one of the sink counters.

"LET ME BE WOMAN!" He yelled pushing me onto the ground. This was not the first time that he was caught sniffing that deadly powder. This was one of the many secrets we kept locked behind our mansion's doors.

"You need help Mason! I am really getting fed up with you doing this to yourself!"

"Oh really? What are you going to do? Leave, huh? That little scrawny thing got you all hot and bothered huh?" He sneered, walking over to me his eye and nose were blood shot red, causing me to get frightened. When he was like this, he was not the Mason that I fell in love with. I struggled against his tight grip on my neck.

"M-a-son. Please." I struggled taking a hold of his arm and dug my fingernails into his flesh.

"They always want something from me. Mr .Royals' can I have an autograph? Mr.Royals' we need you in this meeting. Mr.Royals' I need some money.Mr.Royals'. Mr.Royals'." He said laughing hysterically, releasing my neck.

"I love you so much." He said bending down to my level and cupping my chin with his hands.

"I love you too." I said in honesty.

"I'm so sorry." He cried collapsing onto the ground, resting his head on my lap. Sighing, I stroked his hair and reassured him that everything would be okay, allowing him to release his tears. Even though he was abusive when he had that drug in his system, I looked past that. He just needed help, we were going to fight this together.
