Shawn didn't hug back.

Or at least, that's what I thought when I was hugging him and his arms stood right by his side.

Turns out, Shawn just has late reactions. Because after a good few seconds his arms finally wrapped around me and we were hugging.

"I'm sorry." I say.

"Everyone has their reasons." Shawn says, which doesn't make me feel better at all.

"Nora dragged me to this guys concert, and I don't know if he's any good or not." I tell him once we've broken the hug and are staring at each other.

"I don't think he is, you should sell the tickets quick. Not to mention he's a super nervous before going on stage, so he'll screw all of it up."

"Are you nervous?" I ask, and he gives me a small smile.

"Not anymore."

"Shawn, where are you? Come on!" We both here, and I turn in the direction of the voice.

"I should go." Shawn says, and I smile at him.

"Yeah, see you later." I tell him, and as I walk away, I stop for a moment.

"Shawn?" I say, and as he turns to face me, I go over and give him a hug. I can't help but grin a little more when I smell his shirt, which smells like absolute heaven.

"Bye!" I say, and we both walk away from each other. I pull the black door open and get out, searching for Nora.

"I was going to call, but I didn't know if that would ruin the moment or not." I turn to see Nora looking at me, and my stomach drops.

"The moment?" I ask, repeating her.

"Yeah, the moment. I hope it was fun while it lasted, because my Shawn Mendes update account is dying for an update on what's going on."

Fuck.

"Wait, I must have missed something, what are you talking about?" I ask, still playing clueless, and the moment my heart had stopped and I was terrified that Nora knew about Shawn and I.

"Your Spy Kids moment, duh! We totally snuck into there, saw Shawn and inhaled the same air as him, then almost got caught by the security! And as I sprinted out of there leaving you behind, you hid and waited the security guard out! You have to be blessed."

"Yeah, it was hard hiding from him, but I stayed and persevered." I tell my sister, completely playing it off.

With all this lying I've been doing lately, I'm realizing I should become an actress.

Yeah, I'm definitely becoming an actress.

"Let's go get to our seats." Nora tells me, and we both walk to the rest of the crowd.

Soon enough the concert starts, and Shawn walks on stage, a bright smile on his face.

The crowd goes wild, and even with the seats we had, which we actually pretty good, Shawn couldn't hear Nora's 'I love you's.

Nora begins waving to him, and surprisingly Shawn makes eye contact with her, waving back. His grin widens even more when our eyes meet, and he blows a kiss my way, causing me to laugh.

"Olivia, did you see that? That was totally to you! And he waved back, may the heavens take me away!" Nora screams, along with a bunch of other girls yelling at the top of their lungs.

Shawn starts off with what other song but Stitches, and I find myself singing along to it. Multiple songs pass and every now and then I would look at Nora and see how happy she looked, which caused me to smile too.
