Chapter 14

Day's POV:

I had just walked out of my room when Tess just walked straight into our apartment. Don't get me wrong I'm glad to see her, but we never leave that door unlocked.

"Guys you make such a mess. So what we are going to do is help June with her apartment and then we get to work in here."

"Tess what are you doing? And also how did you get in here?"

I hear Eden yell from the other side of his door, "Cool Tess is here? The party is about to start!"

"To answer your questions Day, I came to help clean up the unfortunate mess you boys make. And I got in here because June gave her key so I could drag your butts out of bed. By the way I wasn't going to jump through the window if I didn't have a key." Tess explained, I couldn't help but roll my eyes at the last part.

Eden and I walked with Tess to June's apartment and I can tell she's made a dent in the amazing work I put together. But now June is passed out on the couch, sleeping like a rock. We silently make our way around the apartment picking up cups and dumping out the water in the closest sink. With three people to do the work instead of one we get the job done in two hours, by now June is up and doesn't know where to begin. She's struggling over her words a little but she finally says, "Tess I told you only to get Day this was his punishment."

"Yeah but I had to get both the boys in the cleaning mood, we're cleaning up the tornado wreckage they call home next."

June giggles at that but it doesn't stay like that for long. June's phone goes off again sounding from the kitchen counter. I hear her mutter, "Great," as she walks towards it. She looks down at her bright screen types out a response and turns to us. "Ok I just got called in so you're on your own, that means no scaling buildings, no jumping through windows and no pranks. Tess you can stay here to babysit if you want, if not I'll ask someone else."

"Fine by me I'll crash here," says Tess.

Eden and I don't agree with June though we both start arguing with her about how we both need a babysitter then Eden says, "Besides you just listed off things that Day would do I haven't done any of that so I don't need a babysitter."

June turns to Eden with a sweet smile and walks up to him, "Oh Eden you're all grown up! You don't have a job. You've been living off my paycheck and take interest in my and Day's relationship like it is a TV show put up on the JumboTrons! What out of all those things makes you think you've done nothing wrong." I though I was free until she turns to me and the anger boils up again. "And you Day," I brace myself for impact, "You sit around playing pranks on the ones close to you, you should be glad we are so fond of you or that blade wouldn't have missed yesterday. You worry if I'm hurt when the reason I'm hurt is because of you. My heart hasn't healed yet, and it isn't just emotional damage! You jump through my window to get my attention? Well you've got it now what do you want to say?"

I'm speechless I want to say something to calm her down but there is nothing I can think of. Thankfully Tess breaks the silence that has fallen over the room. "Hey June you've got to go, Anden wants you."

My blood boils, that's why she is leaving?
