Hey guys it's Andrea, I'm kinda debating if I should continue with this story please comment on this chapter if you want me to continue, and if you do I could really use some ideas. Thanks!
June's POV:
So I might or might not have beat up a kid a few years younger than me, not my fault.
I walk over to the boy and reach out, he shakes my hand, "Good try," I say smiling.
"I thought the girls were always the inferior ones, that I could take one out in any challenge."
"Well you waited to long to learn your lesson, call me if your mind needs a refresh." I let go of his hand and walk away with Eden, Tess and Day following.
Day's POV:
Well that was interesting. That boy's face once he noticed it was us. I was tempted to roll on the ground laughing but I didn't because I wanted him to keep a smidge of he diginity. I'm a good person like that.
***
We've been just hanging out at Tess' place laughing and retelling stories. I felt like our worries didn't mattered, that June's life wasn't just put in danger. It felt like we could stay like this forever. We were all squeezed onto Tess' couch, June opted to sit in my lap to give everyone more room, but there wasn't any need because there was plenty of space once Tess crawled into Eden's lap. This was odd to me. I stared my own brother down with a protectiveness that I've only really felt around June. I guess I was giving Eden the stare that Metias would've given me, maybe Metias would've been worse.
I sat there watching the beautiful girl, my beautiful girl, as she laughed and covered her mouth when she was afraid to offend anyone by cracking her amazing smile.
Eden's voice breaks me out of my mind, "Dude, I know we're both a little inexperienced with this whole dating thing, but I don't think that if you stare at her she'll love you. She might just think you're a stalker."
Tess turns in his lap, "Do you speak from experience?" Eden turns bright red under her gaze, how did I never see this?
"No. Err maybe." Eden breaks, "It's because I had little to no guidance."
"I'm sorry kid but I can council you right now, don't stalk girls that isn't the way to show you care."
"Thanks, you have no idea how much that could've helped two years ago." Eden is getting a little worked up so I dropped it, I didn't want to fight in front of the girls.
I looked at June who had been staring at me while Eden and I talked. She was seriously beautiful anyone could see it except her. Tess giggles in the background, we both turn our heads looking at her, "What?" Asks June.
"You were guys were staring at each other," she keeps on giggling.
"We were gazing," June and I speak in unison.
Tess changes from giggles to full out laughter, she grabs her stomach to try and catch her breath, "I ship it."
Eden turns to Tess with a concerned look, "You do know we aren't pirates right?"
June, Eden, Tess, and I sit in a comfortable silence. I can feel June's eyes on me but I feel that if I look back we'll get giggled at again so I sit there with her in my lap. I run my fingers through her soft dark hair. Slowly Tess stands from Eden's arms and grabs June's hand, "Let's leave the boys alone."
She looks at June's pleading face and leans into June's eat and whispers something so quiet I have to strain my ears to hear her, "I know, I don't want to either."
