Violet's Pov
I was in the kitchen making dinner for all of us tonight. My mom is coming over to dinner with us as well. My plan is for tonight after mom takes the kids home with her, that Brantley and I will be intimate again. Brantley has been home for 3 days and we still haven't haven't been together. Brantley and Asa went hunting today, and Asa got his first deer. I was a nervous wreck, But After Brantley and I fought about and I knew Asa really wanted to do it, so I let it happened. That's what Brantley and Asa doing right now. They are in the shed skinning the deer and processing it. I can cook it, but I can't watch it.
The girls was playing and watching 'Frozen' for the 5th time today. Brantley and I kept Asa and Ivy home today from school. I could listen to the girls sing all day long. I love being a mom so much. They keep me on my feet, but I do love it. I mean come on, I'm only 28 and I have 4 kids already.
Tonight for dinner I'm making tater tot casserole, cream green beans, salad and for dessert I made a chocolate pie. I hope they all like it. I had all the girls dress in their sunday best and I'm wearing a old sun dress. I know it's just for my mom, but I haven't seen her in 5 weeks. She works odd hours at the hospital. She's a doctor now. She moved to Alabama about a year ago for work. I was happy about it, but Brantley didn't care. I know him and mom don't get a long, but I hope just for one night, things will be okay.
I walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. I was listening to the girls sing. I don't care what people say about me, I do love my kids. That is one thing Brantley and I did right together. I was singing with the girls when I heard the back door open and shut. I looked behind me and I saw Brantley and Asa walking into the house, with no shirts on. I do love Brantley's tattoos. We both have the 'BG' on us. Mine is on my lower back. I was only 20 when I got it.
" Thanks for today dad. I had a lot of fun?" Asa said to his father. I know it's tough on Asa, being the only boy here when his dad is gone. Asa has to be the man of the house for Brantley and I think he does a great job. He's a real sweetheart to his little sisters.
" Me too son. Listen go wash up for dinner?" Brantley said to his son. I looked at him.
" Take a shower?" I told him. Asa looked at me.
" Mama, I had one 2 days ago." Asa told me. He's all country, just like his daddy?
" Yes I know that, but we have your grandmother coming?" I told him. I looked at Brantley and he looked pissed off.
" Which one?" Asa asked me.
" Grandma Sadie?" I told him.
" Great?" Brantley said. I looked over at him. Please don't be a fight. Please, please, please.
