Cam Burning House

Violet's Pov

I just got Summer and Luna to sleep, after reading the same 'Mickey Mouse' book 3 times. You could say that I was in no big hurry to leave them. I mean what happened today has been a full on crazy. My mom and Becky cooking for us, Brantley telling me that he want's to start over with us. Then to top it all off with having Jana here again. I mean come on. I don't know if I should stay or run the other way. I wish I knew if this is real on what Brantley is saying or if this is all talk. I mean I want it to be. I miss being with my husband. I walked out of the twin's bedroom and I walked into Ivy's room. She was playing with her doll on her bed. I walked over to her bed and took her doll away from her. She looked at me and smiled. I smiled back at her. I moved her blanket back so Ivy could get in bed. 

" Mama, I'm not tired?" Ivy said to yawing at the end. 

" I see. Well, if you want to grow up strong like you daddy and me you need to sleep." I said to her. 

" Okay mama. I love you?" Ivy said to me. I looked down at her and kissed her chubby little cheeks. She is my little ham. But I don't care. She was a sickly child when she was born. She didn't want to eat at all. Plus I think Ivy and I spent her first 5 months living in the hospital.  

" I love you too baby. Sleep good tonight honey?" I said to her. I tucked her in and was about to walk out of the bedroom.

" Mama?" Ivy said to me. I looked back at her. 

" Yes honey?" I said to her. 

" I'm glad we are staying here with daddy?" Ivy said to me. I looked at her, and smiled at her. 

" Me too baby?" I said to her. 

" Night honey" I said shutting her bedroom door. I walked down to Asa's bedroom. When I get done checking on him, I'm going to put some pjs on and go back to bed. This has been a long night. I think what I need is about 9 hours without getting out of bed. Not for a kid, or my husband, or my crazy wild mother in law.  

I just got to Asa's bedroom when I heard Asa and Brantley talking. I should walk away from them, but he is my son, so I think it's okay if I listen on a few things. Plus I might need to know if it's something Brantley has told him and he hasn't told me. Plus come on the door was ajar about 4 inches. I listen every closely at the boys talk. 

" I'm glad that today is over dad?" I heard Asa saying to his father. You and me both kid. 

" Me too son. This has been crazy right?" I heard Brantley saying to our son. 

" Dad, are we staying with you now? I mean I miss living in my old bedroom." Asa said to his father. I hope I wasn't selfish on moving the kids out of their home like I did.

" I'm going to keep you and your sister's here forever. You and your sisters are back home. No one is moving out again." Brantley said to Asa I hope he means that. 

"  Dad, why mama punch Jana for?" Asa asked his father. I wished the kids didn't see that. That's the last thing I need is my kids going to school and telling everyone that I beat the hell out of a tall model. I would have D C F S here in a flash and my kids would be gone.
