Violet's Pov
Brantley and I was in his truck driving to Jason and Cora's place for dinner tonight. I was wearing a blue sun dress with a nice jacket. Brantley was wearing his black pants and a shirt. Ever since I got back home from shopping earlier, Brantley and I haven't talked at all. I did call mom to see how the kids was doing and ending up on the phone with her for 55 minutes. Oh well I mean I cant talk to my husband for nothing.
I was looking outside, we was almost to the Aldean home. I can't wait to see Cora again. I haven't seen her in almost 9 months. We couldn't see each other that much when Brantley and Jason was on tour. I have 4 kids that needed me and Cora had Jason's 2 little girls. I looked at the clock and it was only 5:54 pm. I looked over at Brantley. I don't know why I was scared to talk to him, I mean he is my husband and all.
I text Cora and told her that I need to talk to her, but with out no one around. I still like to know who Jana Kramer is.
" You know I think it's nice of Jason and Cora to invite us for a cookout?" I told Brantley. He didn't say nothing to me. Okay then.
" I've missed Cora so much. I think it's dumb that we live in the same state only the miles is between us." I told him. Still he didn't say nothing to me. Okay, I'll try this?
" I want another baby?" I told him. I was looking right at him. Brantley looked at me. I was smiling at him.
" Yes you crazy man? Hell, it hurt pushing 2 out crazy" I told him. Brantley gave me a dirt look.
" That's not funny?" Brantley said to me. I looked at him and smiled.
" Well, it got you to talk to me?" I told him.
" I just don't want to talk to you?" Brantley said to me. Ouch, okay that hurt.
" Oh, I forgot to tell you that a really nice man helped me with the car today. He was a nice gentleman and he did it all for me." I told him. Brantley shooked his head at me.
" Did you sleep with him?" Brantley asked me. I looked at him.
" No. I'm not some whore that would cheat on my husband." I told him. Brantley looked at me. He pulled into Jason's and Cora's drive way.
Brantley parked the truck and looked at me.
" I want you to keep that big mouth of yours shut while we are here? I knew I shouldn't have told you that Jason and Cora was having a damn cookout . Brantley said to me. I looked at him.
" Then why did you?" I asked him. He gave me the bird and got out of the truck.
" Asshole." I said to myself. I got out of the truck and walked over to the door. I was about to push the doorbell but Brantley, being Brantley he just walked in.
