Violet's Pov
I was packing all of mine and the kids clothes. I'm done. I'm not going to take this shit no more. If Brantley wants to leave he can, I'm not going to stop him, but the one thing, he won't be taking his my kids. After I left Jason's and Cora's, I called mom to tell her that me and the kids are going to stay with her for a while. I didn't want to tell her the real reason over the phone. So that's what I've been doing half the night. I got Summer and Luna's clothes all done, plus Asa. All I have to do is mine and Ivy's then I'll be out of here.
Last night when Cora and I heard what was Brantley's plan, I don't know what was more hard to hear, that fact that he wasn't in love with me or the fact that he was going to take my kids away from me. I'm their mother, I was the one that gave birth to them, I was the one that stays home and raising them. Brantley can see his kids, but that whore, won't be seeing them.
I was walking into Ivy's bedroom when I heard my cell phone go off. I looked at it and it was Cora. She tried to call me last night, but I didn't want to talk to her. I answered my cell phone.
" Hello." I said to her.
" Thank God Vi. I've been worried sick about you?" Cora said to me. I was putting Ivy's clothes on her bed to pack up.
" I'm sorry, I had to get out of there?" I told her. I sat on Ivy's bed. I looked at the picture she had on her night table. It was all of us in the hospital after I just had Summer and Luna. Brantley was holding Luna and I had Summer, Asa and Ivy was sitting in front of us. We looked happy back then.
" No, that is fine. I was just worried about you?" Cora said to me. Cora is my best friend in the whole world.
" I'm doing okay, I just need to leave?" I told her.
" Where are you going?" Cora asked me. I had to wipe more of my tears away, before I could talk to Cora.
" Me and the kids are moving in with my mom." I told her.
" Just know this, last night after you left, I jump Jason big time." Cora told me.
" Honey, that is nice of you, but you didn't have to do that?" I told her.
" Yes I did. He knew about this and he didn't tell us. Violet I'm so sorry." Cora told me. I heard a door open and shut.
" Listen I got to finish packing, I'll call you later this week." I told her.
" Okay, love you." Cora told me.
" Love you too?" I said to her. I turned my phone off and went back packing.
" Vi!" I heard Brantley yell for me. All I did was sit on Ivy's bed. I don't want to talk to him or nothing?
" Violet Ann Gilbert where are you at?!" Brantley yelled for me again. I heard him go into our room where all of our love was make. I still can't believe all of this is happening to me. Plus what about my kids? Poor things?
" Vi!" Brantley yelled at me again. I got up and started to finishing packing all of Ivy's things. Brantley walked into the bedroom.
" Didn't you hear me yell for you?" Brantley said to me. I looked at him.
" Why are you doing this?" Brantley asked me. All I did was shake my head at him.
" Come on Vi, unpack and talk to me? I mean you are being ridiculous, I mean come on." Brantley said to me. I picked up Ivy shoes and hit him with it.
" You want to talk fine, we will talk? Why did you cheat on me?" I yelled at him.
" Baby come one you are acting crazy?" Brantley said to me. I throw Ivy boots at him.
" Stop lying to me? Why? Just tell me why?" I yelled at him. We was in the hall way right now.
" I don't know?" Brantley said to me.
" Yes you do? Tell me Brantley! Tell me right now!?" I yelled at him.
" I don't know. I mean she was there and I was and one thing lead to another and next we was making out and in bed together?" Brantley told me. I had the tears falling down left and right?
" How long?" I asked him.
" A while now?" Brantley told me. I throw another shoe at him.
" How long?" I asked him again.
" 3 years?" Brantley told me. That's why I lost it? I throw 2 shoes at him and I picked up a vase I got on my birthday from him and I throw it at him.
" I'm so done! I'm moving away and I'm getting a divorce?" I yelled at him.
" No, come on Vi we can talk about this? Please don't take my children away from me?" Brantley said to me. I walked right up to him and slapped him on his face.
" Like you was going to take them away from me!" I yelled at him.
" Don't leave?" Brantley said to me. I looked at him.
" 10 years of marriage right down the drain. You throw it all away on some whore. I hope you are happy with her, because us." I said to him waving my hand back and forth at Brantley and I.
" We are done? I hope you are happy, because this is all on you?" I told him.
" Baby, baby please let's just sit and talk about this?" Brantley said to me.
" Why? Brantley you made this bed, you have to get sleep in it now?" I said looking at him, walking back to Ivy's bedroom. I shut the door and slid down the door and cried my eyes out. The love of my like and I are over.
I got all of mine and the kids clothes all packed up and I was in the kitchen. Brantley was looking at me.
" So you are really going to leave me?" Brantley asked me. I looked at him.
" You was cheating on me Brantley. Do you think I want to do this? You was my first everything? First love, kiss, touch, my heart was ours and you broke it?" I told him. Brantley looked at me and I knew he was pissed off.
" If you leave, you won't be coming back?" Brantley said to me. I looked at him.
" If that is what you want, then fine." I told him. I walked out of the house.
" I won't be paying for you?" Brantley yelled at me. I didn't say nothing to him. I just want to get this done and over with.
" I'm going to move Jana in?" Brantley yelled at me. I know what he is doing? He's trying to make me jealous and stay with him.
" I love you Violet?" Brantley said to me. That one hurt. He hasn't said that to me in a long time now.
" I will always love you?" I told him, getting into my SUV. I looked at Brantley and he kicked the door and walked into the house. I looked at my house one more time before I left the driveway.
We have lived in that house for 4 years now. That was my kids home, and all of my dreams and the love in the house, is all gone now.
