We were in our seats for a good 20 minutes conversing about how delicious pickles are when we heard the beating of drums. I looked up and saw Ashton paying close attention to hitting the right beats on the drums. I stood up and smiled widely. I have the hots for Ashton, sorry.
Juliette stood up next to me, grabbed my shoulders and shook me very hard.
"Don't be like them!" She yelled, referring to the screaming girls. They obviously were screaming about the other three guys that stepped on the stage. Wait, what.
I looked up and there stood Calum, Luke and Micheal. Pinch me.
"Hello everyone. How are you guys?" Luke said into the microphone. I screamed, as did the whole room in response. They laughed at our enthusiasm. "If you guys didn't know already, I'm Luke."
"I'm Calum," Calum said into his microphone, smiling.
"I'm Cliffaconda," Micheal laughed, winking at the crowd which made us go wild.
"And I'm Ashton and we are...," Ashton said, ending it in cheeky suspense.
"5 Seconds Of Summer!" They said all together. That must have taken a lot of rehearsing. The girls of the crowd including Juliette and I cheered. They then started the first beats of Heartbreak Girl.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"You guys have been an amazing audience, sadly this is our last song. I hope you guys had fun and thanks for welcoming us back home!" Luke smiled into the microphone, which resulted in a bunch of girls screaming and crying. Damn, what an adorable smile.
"1, 2, 3, 4!" Ashton yelled into the microphone. That lead up to the song Try Hard. Currently my favorite song of theirs.
I sang along while taking pictures of Calum and Luke grinning at each other. I was jumping up and down with Juliette. She didn't know any of the words so she looked awkward. She was still smiling and jumping so I took that as a good sign.
"She's so out of reach, and I'm finding it hard
'Cause she makes me feel, makes me feel,
Like I try, like I try, like I'm trying too hard,
'Cause I'm not being me, and it's getting me down
That she makes me think, makes me think,
That I try, that I try, that I'm trying too hard again
But now, who knew?
She's in the crowd of my show
Nothing to lose,
She's standing right in the--," Luke sang but then was interrupted by Calum.
"Fourth row!" He yelled into his microphone. He looked straight at Juliette and winked. She looked at me and I looked at her. She looked so surprised.
"The perfect view,
She came--," Luke sang again, only interrupted by Calum again.
"Along with a friend," Calum sang into his microphone and then looked at me. At least I think he did.
They continued to sing with the correct lyrics, we continued to jump around. Girls looked at us with jealously. It was quite a good ending to a concert. Bravo.
After they said their goodbyes, everyone started to flow out of the room. We were just about to walk out ourselves until we were stopped by...
The dyed red head and her friends. Darn.
"Oh my god! You guys weren't kidding! He changed the lyrics for you and winked at you!" She gushed. I chuckled.
"Yeah, let's just say I was not expecting that," Juliette said, rolling her eyes. "Let's go. Don't want to be stuck in the crowd."
