I opened my eyes to a warm towel on my cheeks, instantly replacing the coldness with heat. I haven't realized how cold I was until I sat in my cold clothes for a while. I looked up to see Luke, smirking at me like he always did.

"And she lives," he said, repositioning the towel to where my head and neck meet. I reached up and took the towel from his hands.

"I got it," I said dully, pressing the amazing heat to my skin. Luke rubbed his eyes with the palm of his hands and looked at me like he wanted to throw something at me.

"Lottie, I know you're pissed at us, but at least let us take care of you right now. Your lips are fucking purple," Luke took a deep breath while grabbing my wrists and laying them down at my sides. He took the warm towel and put in back on my cheeks.

"I can do things for myself," I groaned, flicking his hands away from me. I sat up so I could go back to Elizabeth's house, but the world moved in slow motion, everything was blurry and my head killed. I fell back onto the couch, feeling quite nauseous.

"Hmm. Well after you apologize for kinda being a bitch I'll go get you food and warm clothes," Luke said, crossing his arms and sitting back in the chair beside the couch. I crossed my arms, mimicking Luke.

"I don't need to apologize. I can to do things for myself," I grumbled to him. Luke stood up so fast and kicked the folding chair behind him down. He put his hands on his head and began to pace in front of me.

"Don't you see, Charlotte? You can't do things for yourself, especially right now. You can barely fucking move without falling because the only thing you've eaten the past five days was two pancakes. Really Lottie? Why haven't you been eating? That's right, you're so stubborn. You're so stubborn you can't even see that we are trying to help you!" Luke yelled straight to my face.

"Who told you about that?" I asked, sitting up a bit.

"Amelia. See? She cares for you but you are too blind to see it," Luke hissed. He then left the room to make me think. Think of all the things I haven't done because I was too worried about myself. Like when Elizabeth lost someone in her family; I didn't say I was sorry for her loss. Or the time I was late to a party and I didn't tell my dad I loved him back. He died in a car accident on his way to the grocery store to get my favorite ice cream that night because he thought he did something wrong. There is a lot more, but that one hurts the most.

"Here. I made some pancakes for you because I know they are your favorite," Luke dropped the plate on my lap and turned back.

"Luke?" I asked, my voice way smaller than I wanted it to be.

"What?" He replied.

"I'm sorry. I really am," I said, looking everywhere except at him. He sighed, walking over to me and sitting on the small area left on the couch. He leaned down and wrapped his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck.

"I am too," he mumbled in my neck. He pulled away with watery eyes, brushing the hair away from my face. "I'm sorry that we hurt you."

"Don't you start crying on me boy," I laughed, forcing back the moisture in my eyes. He chuckled too, cupping my face with his hands.

"So is this a forgiveness hug?" He asked me. I opened my mouth to answer, but no words came out because I had none.

"I'm sorry Luke, but I don't think this is," I answered quietly. He nodded, looking down at his lap.

"Well, I'll go get you some warm clothes." He then got up and went to get clothes while I ate my pancakes. When he got back with the red hoodie and gray sweatpants I changed in the bathroom where I saw how bad I looked. My eyes were black from my makeup and exhaustion, my hair knotty and my lips were blue. I brushed my hair with my fingers and wiped around my eyes, but I still looked bad.

I opened the door and walked into a chest of someone. That someone turned out to be Ashton.

"Lottie," Ashton started to say, but I already knew it would be an abundance of apologies so I went around him and down the hall. "Lottie, wait."

"Stop, you're still drunk, so please don't talk to me," I pleaded, walking into the living room.

"Lottie, I'm not drunk," Ashton said with a confused look on his face, which made me confused.

"But like an hour or two ago you were piss drunk," I said.

"That was at like, two this afternoon. I sobered up. It's almost midnight," He smirked, opening the blinds to a dark sky. "You passed out, but don't worry. We took Elizabeth's car back and told her to pick you up in the morning so you can rest. You're welcome."

I didn't know what to say at this point. "I'm sorry for, your...face."

"Oh, yeah. My face felt fine by the time I sobered up," He shrugged, pointing to his left cheek. "I'm sorry for lying to you; to all of you."

"Oh, yeah. My whole being will feel fine by the time I sober up," I grumbled while sitting back down on the couch.

"Lottie, please you are being ridiculous. I don't know what to do other than say I'm sorry. These past few days have been hell for me, and I'm sure it was for you too and I'm sorry. It is tearing me apart from the inside out that I hurt you that bad, I'm sorry." He said.

"Goodnight, Ashton," I tried dismissing him, but he wasn't having it.

"No, Lottie! We are talking about this! You are the first girl that I have actually loved and I fucked it up before we were even together, I know. But I'm so sorry for that, but just think; if it weren't for this program, we would have never met." Ashton explained, sitting down on the chair Luke was on earlier.

"Maybe that would've been better, so I could still think about you guys without wanting to punch myself in the face for being so starstruck," I argued. "Ashton, please. Just go back upstairs."

"Not until you agree to comeback up there with me. We need to talk about this Lottie whether you like it or not."
