"Lottie. We are almost there you will see in one second!" He said with annoyance in his voice because I kept asking where we were going. Well we were going somewhere cold so where is it cold here in Australia?
"We are going to an ice rink, aren't we?" I asked. He grunted.
"I can't even make it a surprise with you guessing everything right!" Ashton laughed as we pulled up to a building that I predicted was the ice rink. I love ice skating but I am very bad at it. In Michigan at my cabin there are two ponds that freeze over in the winter so I had some experience with skating.
Ashton pulled into a parking spot as I started to unbuckle. "No wait! Stay there."
I sighed as he got out of the car and ran to my door just so he could open it. I laughed, "You know I have arms, right? I can open my own doors."
"Not with me you can't," He grinned, shutting the door. What a gentleman. I knew what Ashton was thinking, he was going to open and hold the door for me so as we got near the door I sprinted. I quickly opened the door.
"See? I opened a door!" I giggled. He smiled, picking me up and walking through the door. He laughed. "I have feet Ashton!"
"Okay, okay," He set me down when he walked in. We walked over to where the people were selling skates. I got a size 8 and sat down on the bench to put them on. Ashton soon followed. As soon as we had our skates and gloves on we were on the rink.
I struggled a bit while Ashton was gliding on the ice with such ease. It has been like 5 years since I last went skating, give me a break! I grunted in annoyance.
"You're okay," he said, grabbing my hands and then started skating backwards. I wobbled a bit when he started to drag me along with him.
"Wow is there anything you can't do?" I asked, looking to my left. He shrugged. Little did he know there was a group of 7 girls looking over at him and freaking out. They started taking some photos of us. "I feel so awkward."
"Why?" He asked chuckling. I pointed to the girls watching us. His mouth formed an 'o' shape in realization.
"Do you wanna go talk to them?" I asked him, letting go of his hands.
"Yeah, let's go," He said, putting emphasis on 'let's' as in 'we' as in 'both of us.' I nodded as he grabbed my left hand. We skated over to them and the closer we got the wider the smiles got. One of the girls were even wearing a 5SOS shirt!
This is my first interaction with fan since I've started hanging out with the boys so I don't know what to expect. My thoughts were interrupted by one of the girls talking.
"Hi Ashton!" She said smiling. And then all the other girls started saying hi.
"Hi girls!" He smiled, tightening his grip on my hand like I would skate away. And I am not going to lie, I was thinking about it.
"Can we get pictures with you?" A brunette asked. I noticed she looked at me. Ashton let go of my hand to take some pictures.
"Sure," he said. Most of the girls were with him but 3 of the girls came to me. Why? I don't know.
"Are you and Ashton together?" The one on the left asked. Were we? He never officially asked me to be his girlfriend so I don't know.
"I honestly don't know. I mean we have been seeing each other for a couple months but this is our first date," I answered truthfully.
"You are so pretty and I love your hair!" The one on the right said. I thanked her. "What it you're name?"
"Charlotte, but everyone usually calls me Lottie," I said. The 3 girls excused their selves so they could get pictures with Ash so I just stood their awkwardly. That is until a girl about 14 came up to me.
