The warm air shot out of the blow dryer at the highest setting. I need to get my hair dry. I spent too long in the shower and too long picking out something to wear so I only have 10 minutes to do my hair.
I ended up picking a blue crew neck sweater and white shorts.
I flipped my hair upside down in attempts to dry my washed hair faster but no luck. It was still damp by the time 8 o'clock hit.
"Lottie, Ashton is here for you!" Elizabeth called up the stairs five minutes after 8.
"Lottie, don't do anything I wouldn't do," Amelia smirked. I nodded, grabbing my over-the-shoulder clutch purse with my phone and such in it and walked downstairs.
"Don't fucking do anything stupid Ashton. I know you. This is a good girl, I know it. You know what will happen don't you?" Elizabeth growled under her breath which shocked me. She sounded serious and I have never heard her swore.
"I know," Ashton mumbled, shuffling his feet to Elizabeth's attempt so be scary. I coughed which got their attention away from each other. Ashton smiled.
"Have her home by 12 or I'll block you off, Ashton," Elizabeth said crossing her arms.
"I will, I will," He repeated, not taking his eyes off of me. I smiled back at him as he took my hand. We walked out the door and to his car.
"I'm going to make sure you don't guess where we are going this time," Ashton smirked as I climbed into his car and away from the mild air of Australia.
"Or are you?" I questioned clicking my seat belt in.
"I am and that means no hints," Ashton announced as we pulled out of Elizabeth's driveway for what seemed like the millionth time.
"Can I just have a teeny weeny one?" I begged. He sighed.
"We're going on tour with One Direction again," Ashton blurted abruptly. My eyes widened.
"Ashton!" I gasped smiling. "That's awesome! We are seeing One Direction aren't we?"
"No that wasn't a hint I just wanted to tell you before I hesitated. So you are okay with it?" He asked.
"Why wouldn't I? And why does it matter to me I'm leaving Australia soon," I shrug.
"So? You are my girlfriend and your opinion matters," He laughed while grabbing my hand that was in my lap and intertwined his fingers between mine.
"Not really. You are you and only you can make your own decisions," I said. He caressed his thumb over my knuckles and shrugged.
"I love you," Ashton announced. "I love you so much."
"I love you too, Ashton," I smile.
"I'm sorry," He replied. "For it."
"For what?" I asked, confused. He really hasn't done anything wrong.
"Just know I love you and that you mean so much to me and that I am sorry," Ashton said, turning down a road. "Just know that I love everything about you."
"How?" I blurted, my heart obviously speaking before my brain. "I'm nothing special."
"But you are Lottie. You are everything to me," He smiled. Usually I would smile back, but something is wrong. I frowned and let go of his hand.
"I don't get why you say that. I really am nothing special and I don't know what you love about me." I confessed. Ashton slowed the car down to a stop abruptly and turned to look at me, his hazel eyes staring into mine with emotion.
