Chapter 6: Feelings

I woke up with a sudden rush of adrenaline. Today was Friday!! TGIF LOL!! I hurried and took a quick shower and brushed my teeth. I just grabbed what I can find which was a black long sleeved shirt with a white cardigan. I paired it with dark blue jeans. I slipped on my black uggs because it was chilly. I grabbed a chocolate pop tart and rushed out the door. I grabbed a rubber band and put my pop tart in my mouth as I struggled to put my hair in a tight bun. I finally succeeded, but half of my pop tart fell on the ground I looked at it in despair, because I was STARVING.  I left it and I carried on to high school (bleh).

I arrive to high school earlier than normal and hide behind the corner to "pounce" on my prey (aka Jessalyn) I check my phone and the time is 7:30 am. I wait, and wait, and wait until I see her hair up in a bun, but I can recognize her hair and her build. I silently walk like a ninja to her and tap her shoulder. She freezes and turns around slowly.

Jessalyn's pov (surprise!)
The only words going in my mind right now is, "Oh sh*t, oh sh*t she caught me!" I felt her tap on my shoulder, and she is tapping her right foot on the ground and her arms are crossed. She has a pissed and confused expression her face, and I understand why. I turn around and tell her confidently, "Yes? Do you need anything?" She was literally fuming in front of me. She said, "WHAT DO YOU MEAN DO YOU NEED ANYTHING? DO I LOOK STUPID TO YOU?" I hunch down intimidated and look down at my feet. She sees my change in expression and apologizes over and over. I say barely a whisper, "No problem." I scurried away, and suddenly remember that I forgot to give the paper. I just let it go and trudge down the halls in embarrassment and despair, because she found out who I am, and who sent the notes. I decide to no longer send the notes to her anymore.

Vadison's pov
I think that I scared Jessalyn away. I feel a little guilty when she scurries away quickly, but she got what she deserved. She is a wanna be and she is really creepy fro putting these notes in my locker. The bell rings and I head off to class. When break comes, I rush over to my meeting place immediately and I see Josh run up. He is the only one there, and I ask him, "Where is everyone? Are they absent? I don't have any classes with you guys in the morning time." He shrugs and says, "I'm not sure where everyone is, but I need to tell you something." He is starting to sweat and his posture is changing from his usually cool/cocky state into a nervous wreck. I am almost nervous to ask him but I say, "Yes Josh? You can tell me." He takes a deep breath and says all in one breath, "Ilikeyouvadisonandnotinafriendway." I take a moment to digest his words, then my eyes widen in realization.

Josh's pov (yay!)
I knew I shouldn't have told her my feelings. She is now speechless and I regret pouring my heart out to her. I have had a crush on her since we first met, and as we got to know each other better, my liking for her grew. I stand there waiting patiently for any response. She finally stutters, "Are you serious? Is this a prank of yours?" I shake my head fiercely and say, "No! No! Of course not. I wouldn't prank you on a serious topic like this!" I tell her nervously, "Are you busy tomorrow? I would like to take you out on a date." She hesitates, and she says,"Ok I will go." I secretly jump with joy, but with the cool natured person I am, I say,"Thanks Vadison. I will not disappoint you tomorrow." And with those words, I left the courtyard because the bell rang. I'm secretly glad that our friends didn't come, because I wouldn't have any other time to ask her out and confess my feelings.

Vadison's pov
As I was watching josh leave, my heart was swelling with happiness, and at the Same time, there were butterflies in my stomach. I want this
Day to be over. I arrive to my next classes, and the classes end after what seemed like centuries. When I arrived to lunch, Josh and I are really awkward. But we try and act as normal as possible around each other. When we head to class, Josh whispers, "I can't wait until tomorrow." My heart skips a beat, and I say shakily, "I am excited too! I really  can't wait!" Then we parted to our classes.
