Vadison's pov I hear whispers and I am really confused. I crack open my eyes, and I hear, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY V!" I open my eyes all the way and see my auntie, Rosalyn, and Isabella standing at my bedside with presents and a cake. I am surprised, because I forgot that today was my own birthday! I had too many things on my plate and my birthday is the last thing on my mind. I smile and say, "Thanks! But can I get ready first?" They nod and scurry out of the room. I stretch and head into the bathroom to take a shower and freshen up. I decide to wear a dress because today is a special occasion! I decide to choose a black dress with a black bow on the front waistline, with a necklace I got from my late grandma. I left my hair curly and wavy. I put on some smokey eye shadow and lip gloss. I applied some mascara and put on some foundation to hide my eye bags from lack of sleep. I also paired it with gold bracelets and I grabbed my black high heels and went out to the kitchen. I text all of my friends and say, "Anyone free today?" I send the text and immediately get responses.

At this point, I am signing in defeat. My friends are all busy today, but I still haven't gotten a reply from one person. That person is Jay. I didn't include him in this chat, so I go and text him.
V💜😋: hey, are you busy today?
Jay 😍💘: no, but happy birthday!
V 💜😋: thanks ☺️, but do you want to do something today?
Jay 😍💘: sure, I'll be at your house in 10?

I'm happy that someone is finally free. I rush downstairs and eat a slice of my cake. It is do bash and I'm in heaven. I scarf it down and then I rush out of the door. I grab my black clutch either my wallet and phone in it. I hear a honk, and I immediately know it is jay. I see him leaning on his white camaro, and my breath hitches.
He's wearing a white button down with his sleeves rolled up and his first two buttons are undone. He's wearing black slacks, and that makes him look even more hot with his hair styled messily. He smirks playfully and says, "Enjoy what you see?" I blush and duck my head ashamed. I hear him coming and he brushes the hair out of my face. He whispers soothingly, "Hey, I was kidding you know. Happy birthday beautiful." I blush even more, and he tilts his head down and he meets my lips softly. He stays for some time and I'm in heaven. We pull away, and he is flushed. He takes my hand and opens the passenger door for me. I smile and say, "Such a gentlemen!" He rubs his neck and tries to hide his blush. He says, "Anything for my girl." I freeze, and he realized what he said. Greaves his hands frantically, and he tried to say, "Hey no no I didn't mean it that way!" I cut him off mid rant with a peck on his lips. He is surprised, but he shuts up. I giggle and he rolled his eyes playfully.
He goes and starts the car. I am blindfolded, and he tells me, "It's a surprise." I wait impatiently, and it seems like an eternity by the time we get to the destination. I can't hear anything or smell anything, so I can't get a hint. He takes me by the hand, and we walk a little ways before we stop. He takes off my blindfold slowly, and I take in my environment carefully. I look straight ahead, and I gasp in surprise.
