Chapter 7: the date

Vadison's pov
Today was Saturday, and I woke up feeling nervous and excited at the same time. I took a shower and brushed my teeth first. I texted him and this is our conversation.

Vadison: Good morning Josh!

Josh: Good morning V! I am so excited for our date!

Vadison: Me too! But what kind of attire do I wear? Fancy, comfortable, regular, or warm?

Josh: Just wear a dress and we are good.

Vadison: ok I will wear a dress ;) see you soon!

Josh: See ya

I put on my strapless black dress with a sweetheart neckline on it. I pair it with a golden necklace with my name on it. I also put my hair into a braid that looks like a headband. I don't want to curl my hair because it might look silly and I would look like a try hard. I hurry and put some eye liner and mascara, and I hurry up and put gray eye shadow and lip gloss. (I personally hate lipstick because it makes my lips feel heavy and sticky). I hear a knock on the door, and I yell, "I'M LEAVING!" I hear an ok in the background, so I grab my black stilettos and open the door.

Josh's pov
When I open the door, I can feel my eyes wide and my mouth drop to the floor. I see Vadison, and she is wearing makeup and a black dress. She looks stunning and I can't even utter a word. I give her the bouquet of roses, and she happily takes them and sniffs them. I take her hand and lead her to the car. I open her door like a gentleman and she hops in. She says, "Where are we going? And I put my finger on my mouth and make a shhhhh sound. I tell her with a wink, "It's a secret!" She makes a cute pouty face and points her head up like a spoiled little kid. I chuckled and shook my head and kept driving. We arrive to the place and it was set us like planned. It was a forest and when I walked to the special place, her eyes widened in surprise. (A/N I am going to keep switching pov's so just giving you guys a heads up)

Vadison's POV
I saw the place Josh led me to, and I stand here shocked. It was a large flower field with fireflies dancing around. I sighed in happiness and I ran around the field spinning when I suddenly ate it. I can see Josh's silhouette bent down laughing. I blush and lay down on the ground looking at the crystal clear night sky. I recognized some constellations because I am studying to be an astronomer, focusing on constellations. I suddenly saw a shooting star, and I hear Josh next to me whisper, "Make a wish V, and close your eyes." So with that, I slowly closed my eyes and wished hard. All of a sudden, I can feel Josh slowly lean closer.

Josh's POV
As she closed her eyes to make a wish, I slowly leaned closer to give her a kiss. I leaned closer, and closer, and then I was hovering over her. She opened her eyes and I swear, they were the most prettiest eye color out there. I leaned even closer when our noses and our lips were lightly touching. I asked her with my eyes, and she slowly nodded. I closed the gap, and fireworks immediately erupted. It was really sweet and her lips were really soft. I can feel her hesitate in surprise, but I didn't want to pull away because I wanted to do this for 4 years. She suddenly started to react to my kiss. We stayed In That position until we needed air. We pulled away and I looked at her through my eye lashes. She was pink with embarrassment, but she had a dreamy expression on her face. I stared at the sky, until I felt a kiss on my cheek. I thought of a thought and moved my head slightly and her lips were on mine again. She grunted in surprise, but I wrapped my arm around her waist. I gently deepened the kiss and then we pulled away.

Vadison's POV
Sparks. That is all I felt as I kissed Josh. I was surprised that he was really gentle, because I thought he was going to be sloppy because he was a major player. He suddenly turned after a few moments of comfortable silence, and asked me a question I have been waiting for 4 years. I have had a secret one sided love for him, but I didn't think that he would like me back. He asked me, "Vadison Emilia Lasdera will you take the honor of being my girlfriend? You will not regret it. I have been loving you since I first laid my eyes on you. Even though I am a player, I got all of those girls just to get your attention. I am glad we got closer, and I hope you accept." I hesitate, and then I hugged him as hard as I can and he says, "I'm assuming that's a yes?" And then I nodded and said, "I'll be your girlfriend." He then smiled and then pecked me on the lips once.

Josh POV
It was finally time to say goodbye. I am so glad she accepted as my girlfriend. I feel like a new person, and I feel happier. I drove her home after a few hours. I took her to her doorstep and hugged her. Then I leaned in and gave her a gentle kiss. I wrapped my arms around her waist and treasured this moment. When we separated, I didn't want to leave. Eventually, I left and drove away feeling like the happiest man on the world.
