Chapter 12: Revealing

Vadison's POV
As I know it, the bell rings for lunch. I gather my things and head to my locker. I grab my lunch which is a spam musubi, a chocolate cookie, and a red Gatorade. I hurry to my table and I dig in to my lunch. All of my friends laugh and Nico says, "Dang V! Stop being such a savage!! We aren't going to steal your lunch!!" I look up from my lunch with chocolate cookie and a spam musubi in my mouth. I probably look like a chipmunk right now! I immediately turn red as a tomato and  attempt to swallow my food. I swallow it and say laughing, "Remember guys! I have to meet with ".28.!" I used imaginary air quotes to emphasize my point. Kay says, "Oh yeah!! It's today!! But girl you better hurry up your as* and go to meet the person!" I sigh and say, "Oh ok guys, I'm off!! I wave and everyone says, "Good luck!"

I walk out of the cafeteria and hear a deep voice whisper, "Hey! Over here!" I turn and look and see a figure with a black hoodie with his/her hood on. I say, "Ok then?" That person sounds sort of sketchy, but with my curiosity killings me, I go over to the person. The person whispers, "Follow me." I nod my head and we start walking. We walk for what it seems like ages. We arrive to the destination, which is the softball fields. I'm lucky my next class is right across from the softball fields so I won't be late!! We go onto the field and I go into shock and say, "Oh my god."

Jay's POV
I take off my hood and she looks at me. She says, "Jay? What is all this? Why are you in a hoodie? Why are we here?" I chuckle and say, "Easy there tiger! I'll answer all of your questions one by one." I cross my arms and look at my work satisfied. On the softball field are bats and softballs spelling out the words, "Will you be my girlfriend?" It took me a while to figure out this idea, so I hope my hard work will pay off soon. I am silently screaming, "SAY SOMETHING!!"

Vadison's pov
I look at the scene before my eyes. The softball field has a sentence spelled out in front of me, which are made out of bats and softballs. The sentence is. "Will you be my girlfriend?" I put my hands up to my mouth and my eyes start to well up. This get up is so cute and romantic. He stands there waiting patiently for me to speak. I go up to him and I use hand gestures because I am at loss for words.he seemed to understand my gesture and he said with a playful smirk, "Yes this is true V. I have had feelings for you since elementary school." I am speechless and overwhelmed with surprise and happiness. He is waiting nervously, fidgeting on foot to foot.

Jay's POV
Damn, I'm so stupid I shouldn't have done this getup because she isn't responding to my questions and she is crying. I kick the dirt and put my head down in shame. I can feel 2 fingers lift up my chin, and V says, "Hey, why are you sad? I said I'll accept your offer!' My eyes widen, and I say, "Really??! Are you kidding? Please say this isn't a dream." She chuckles and shakes her head. "No it isn't a dream, and I am not kidding." I am so overjoyed, so I pick her up in my arms and twirl her around in circles like a sappy fairy tale. She laughs with glee and she says breathless, "Woah Jay! You sure are strong!" I laugh and say, "Thanks!" But suddenly the atmosphere changes from playful to serious.

As I know it, we both start to get closer and closer. When we are literally one millimeter apart, the bell rang and I groan in frustration. I see V, and her cheeks are tainted a light pink color. The atmosphere suddenly turns awkward and I say with a wave and a crooked smile, "Alrighty V, see you after school!" V waved back eagerly and goes off to her class. When I arch her leave, I jump with joy and yell, "HELL YEAH! I DID IT!! SHE IS MINE!" I pump my fists in the air and I don't care if people are watching me. I go to my next class with a little pep in my step, and I have positive energy throughout the whole day.
