Please... Forgive me...

Chapter I

... Darkness... That was everything I could see in my small, dark cell. I wonder... How long has it been since I last saw the sun? My arms... they hurt... I tilted my head to the left... And slowly to the right side... The chains didn't let me move my arms... How mean... It was surely time to break out of here. And I actually had a plan...

"Oi! It's time for your meal!" This voice... I hated it so much... So many painful memories came up at this voice... I looked up from the floor to the face of the leader... It was his order back then to kidnap me...

He brought a tablet with a plate of stone hard bread and some bit of water. This was my "food" for the past years. I looked at the tablet and then down again.

"You'll eat yourself got it?" He unchained my arms. "And no tricks or attempts to run." He put the plate down in front of me and turned to leave.

Various tresses of my waist long, copper red hair covered my face and I picked up the tablet. As quiet as possible I snuck up to him and smashed the tablet with all my strength down on his head. A short scream of pain echoed through the dark hallways before his body fell to the floor.

"What's going on here?!" I heard various voices coming closer. My mind went blank in the fear of what might happen to me once they see this. I ran. I didn't have any idea where the exit would be but I knew I had to run away from the voices. Before I realized, I was actually outside.

"Get her back!" The voices... They still were following me... I ran inside the forest and hid behind a tree. Please... I want to get home... I closed my eyes with these thoughts I closed my eyes and concentrated on the voices. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my right shoulder and my screams were muffled by a hand. I tilted my face to a side, to see a person wearing a mask. And my body started to get heavy... My knees...gave simply in... But surprisingly he caught me... Maybe he wasn't this bad....? He wasn't one of them...? My vision started to blur... And I looked up... The nights sky... It was so beautiful... I missed it... I wanted to look at it longer... I tried to say something but my mouth wouldn't make a single sound... Darkness started to embrace me... No...! I didn't want it to...! But all my struggles were worthless... I felt tears well up in my eyes before the darkness caught me completely within itself... I didn't want to be imprisoned anymore...
