Chapter XIV

We arrived within seconds at my village.

"Kuroko... Why are you here?! With Virginia??!" Mom and dad were furious.

"Explanation for later, now we have to prepare the village for a fight." Kuroko explained and walked towards the hospital.

"You should rest your arm as much as possible, but due to our current situation I'd suggest you stay with the children and protect them if necessary. While Kuroko sets up our defensive and attack lines." The doctor patted my head and left me with Kuroko alone.

"What??" I looked at Kuroko and he nodded.

"Yeah, I'm in charge of the strategies and you're in charge of the children. And no discussions~" Kuroko winked and I pretended to pout, as my arm was bend by a nurse. Her ears were twitching slightly showing that she was listening and enjoying our talk.

"So you will wait for me right? And after that I promise we will move back here and enjoy a normal couple life... And wanna get a small peek into it before it really starts?" Kuroko looked at my face and in the reflection of his eyes I saw my burning red cheeks.

"Yes... I am curious..." I tried to ask despite my shyness. The imagination of a life with Kuroko... Everyday cuddle and kisses and actually more... I liked it... So I gave into my curiosity.

The nurse finished her job fast and left, so that the room was empty except of Kuroko and me.

Kuroko stroked my cheek gently with a hand and I couldn't help but to smile at his gentle touch and the warmth he left on my cheek. He closed the distance between our faces slowly and I looked into his beautiful black eyes.

"Sure you want to peek...?" He asked and I felt his hot breath on my lips.

"Yes... I want it..." I answered and our lips touched. I instinctively wrapped my arm around Kuroko's neck and he pulled me closer by my waist. Our kiss deepened and before we knew it our tongues were trying to dominate the other ones.

"Oh, I knew it would end like this with you two..." My parents walked in and my mom giggled.

With red cheeks we pulled away from each other and I looked down.

"We're obviously not against it... He's a good man for you, but before you two get too intimate we should win a battle!" My father laughed and Kuroko nodded.

"Then first we hide women with their children and then the question is what to do next... How will we make them attack us?" Kuroko talked with my father and I looked at mom.

"Mom? I've an idea but don't tell dad..." I whispered in her ear and so we easily snuck out of the hospital.

"So... First we get the children into a safe place and then I will pretend to have sprained my ankle, and then we can charge all together, can't we?" I looked at my mother and she nodded.

"Alright, let's do that. And then our men can see that we aren't just powerless women." My mom giggled and so we ended up preparing everything. After hiding the children, we took our armour on.

"Anyways, ready?" I looked at my mother and she nodded. Our army was ready and so we took our plan into action.

"Sweetheart, how did you end up here?" Pretending to have a sprained ankle and one of the man who's been keeping me for ages looked at me with a dirty look.

"Fell down...!" I tried to stand up but fell down.

"so close to the village you failed... Poor you..." He was about to grab my arm but I cut his arm off and he screamed in pain.

"Charge!!!" I screamed and various Kitsune attacked. Screams were heard and I jumped up and held my sword.

"Time to get you down!" Shira picked me by my neck up.

"Time I get revenge for everything you've done to me!" I cut her arm off and it grew anew. She readied her sword and I looked at her. She attacked me and I blocked. I couldn't afford to get injured. Suddenly her body was pierced from behind and it fell to the floor.

"Well, may I help you on the battlefield beauty?" Kuroko licked the blade of his sword and I shook my head and sighed.

"That was my duel..." I said and he smiled at me.

"Our plan was different, but you and your mother are too similar to each other... So let me protect you..." Kuroko looked into my eyes and I couldn't help but to agree to his sweet eyes.
