*Adrien's P.O.V *

I was currently watching the news in my room. It has been the same thing all over again. 'Oh Cat Noir and Ladybug saved the day!' 'The heroes once again beat the evil villians' 'Who are Cat Noir and Ladybug?' 'Will they reveal themselves one day?' So on and so on. I was about to turn off the t.v. when....

"Local newspapers report that citizens of Paris are spotting what appears to be 'mermaids'. They say, she appears in the river of Siene. We are not entirely sure, but they say she is very fast to be seen. Here are some videos of people who were lucky enough to record her."~ News Reporter

I had my mouth gaped open. No way, there's a mermaid here in Paris?!?! I have to check that out. I went to my room to call Plagg and tell him.

"Plagg?"~ Adrien

There was no response so I looked in my book bag. I found him sleeping between some books. I picked him up, and tapped his head.

"Plagg, wake up."~ Adrien

"Mmm, w-wha?"~ Plagg

"There's rumors there's a mermaid in the river Siene!"~ Adrien

"*yawn* And?"~ Plagg

"Well, I thought we should check it out! These are mythical creatures!"~ Adrien

"Ok......we'll go at midnight."~ Plagg

"What?!?! Why?"~ Adrien

"Well, if I was a mermaid, I wouldn't show up until a time when people aren't usually around."~ Plagg

"How could people catch her in video then?"~ Adrien

"Beats me, I think she just shows up at right times."~ Plagg

"Fine...midnight it is then."~ Adrien

*Time Skip to Midnight*

I spent the whole day in my room researching about mermaids. It was actually interesting. Right now, I was Cat Noir, and I was running to the river. When I got to La Siene River, I detransformed and quietly walked to the edge of the bridge Pont Neuf. The water was clear, and it was dead quiet. I checked the time in my phone, twelve sixteen. It only took Cat Noir a good ten minutes to get here. I was about to stand because the stone was hurting my butt for sitting so long when she appeared. She jumped out off the surface and did a flip. Not only that, she actually swam in all directions in front of the bridge I was on. How was I gonna get her attention? I had an idea.

"Plagg!"~ Adrien whispered

"What?"~ Plagg whispered back ( they'll be whispering this whole conversation )

"I found her."~ Adrien

"Really?!?!"~ Plagg

"Shh! I'm going to jump into the river ok?"~ Adrien

"Nuh-uh, not me. I'll wait for you over by the trees there."~ Plagg

Plagg pointed to the trees he was talking about. ( if you didn't know, there's a sidewalk you could walk on next to the river.....got this from my French teacher......that's how I know this stuff 😅 )

"Ok."~ Adrien

He flew of to tree that was next to some stairs. When I saw what tree, I stood up and looked down.
