Promise

*( Y/N )'s P.O.V *

He lied. He's not coming. And I'm here waiting for him. Adrien promised. He promised me he'll come. Yet, he broke that promise.

*Flashback *

'Hey Adrien.'~ you

'What's up, ( y/n )?'~ Adrien

'Um, can you meet me at the park on Saturday at eight in the night?'~ you

'Sure, but why so late?'~ Adrien

'It's something secret I need to tell you.'~ you

'Ok.'~ Adrien

'Promise?'~ you

'Promise'~ Adrien

We intertwined our pinkies together.

*End Of flashback *

It's eleven forty-five p.m. It's raining hard in Paris right now. I have no sweater and I'm dripping wet. My clothes stick on me like a second skin. I'm weak from the cold. The wind blows making me shiver vigorously. I stand and start heading out of the park slowly. I can't move my legs so fast.

"W-where a-a-are y-you?"~ you whispered

I felt tears coming down my cheek. I can't recognize which are mine because of the rain and my cheeks are numb of the cold. All I know is that I'm crying. I feel the tears in my eyes. Or can it just be the rain? I didn't know where I was walking, I didn't pay attention at the red light of the cross light. All I knew was that there was a bright white light coming my way. When I stare at the light, it gets bigger and bigger. That's when it strucks me, it's a car coming my way. I try to run, but body doesn't let me.

'You won't make it'

I will. I have to.

'Your body is frozen'

No, it's not. I can move.

'You can't, don't even try. Just....'

The car started beeping and at me. It couldn't be stopped by the brakes.

'Die.'

Once that voice I put the back of me said that, I felt pain throughout my body, I was being consumed by darkness.

Maybe, I will just sleep.

*Adrien's P.O.V *

*sigh* I am bored. There's nothing to do and I'm wide awake. I was flipping through some channels on the tv. The news came up and I didn't expect the hear what they said.

"Today, approximately at eleven fifty, a teenage girl, presumably known as ( y/n ) ( l/n ), was struck by a Honda Accord. The driver said that he couldn't stop the car due to the heavy rain. What drives the police in investigation is that what was she doing alone in the street. Police say she had no sweater and was soaked. The ambulance had reported to us she was badly injured and is on life support. Investigation is now going on in the scene."~ News Reporter

"Oh...my god."~ Adrien

I forgot about our promise! And now she's dying! I ran outside in the rain, called my driver and told him to head to the hospital. It took a good ten minutes when I got to the hospital. Unfortunately, I had to wait half an hour until I can visit ( y/n ). I can't believe it, how can I have forget? I promised to her! Why did she stay there?!?! In the rain?!?! When I finally could visit her, I asked for her room and went zooming as fast as I can. Once I was outside her door, a doctor with a clipboard was outside.

"Hello, are you a relative of ( y/n )?"~ Doctor

"Yes."~ Adrien

I lied because If I say no, maybe he'll say only relatives are allowed and I really want to see her.

"Well, I have to tell you something."~ Doctor

"Yes?"~ Adrien

My voice was cracked. Please don't be what I think it is.

"She is injured badly, and even though she is on life support, she won't make it."~ Doctor

Tears were in my eyes now, why? Why does she have to die?

"How long *sniff* will she be-"~ Adrien

"She has about an hour until her heart stops functioning."~ Doctor
"Ok."~ Adrien

He walks away and I step into the room. There she is, lying there, fragile as if one touch, she could crack into a million pieces.

"Hey ( y/n ) *sniff*."~ Adrien

"H-hey, A-adrien."~ you

"I'm sorry for all of this. I'm sorry I broke my promise."~ Adrien

I couldn't hold my tears. I let them fall without another word.

"A-adrien, can I t-tell you s-something?"~ you

"You can tell me anything *sniff*."~ Adrien

"I.....I l-love.....you."~ you

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!

"NO! ( Y/N )! NO!"~ Adrien

She's gone, she's gone from me. I held her lifeless body onto mine.

"I love you too."~ Adrien whispered

*Five Months Later*

I bought some roses. Beautiful red roses.

"I hope you like them."~ Adrien

I placed them above her gravestone. I stared at the flowers. I wished I had kept my promise.

"I need to go now, ( y/n ). *sniff* I promise I'll come back tomorrow."~ Adrien

This time I'm keeping my promise.

"I love you. "~ Adrien

With that I walk away from her gravestone.
