I looked down at our entwined hands and couldn't help but feel a burst of butterflies.
"So, how does it feel?" Daniel asked me. How does what feel?! Does he know that I like him. Oh this is not good. Just be cool Jade, just play it cool.
"How does what feel?" I questioned.
"Your leg of course, what else would I be talking about?" He said with a gentle laugh.
"Nothing." I said a little too quickly "And my leg feels like a leg I guess, it hurts a little though." I said. It's true, I wasn't used to being able to bend my knee and it hurt a lot.
"Well that just won't do now will it?" He said with a mischievous grin. What was he talking about? Not a moment later I was being thrown over Daniels masculine shoulders as he was laughing at my attempts to break free.
"Not going to happen princess." He said.
"Please Daniel? I'll do anything!" I bargained.
"Anything you say?" He asked.
"Anything."
"Okay then." He said as he put me down. He just started at me with mischief and another emotion that I couldn't work out.
"So, what do you want me to do?" I asked.
"Just stay there and smile." He said. Okay then? I smiled and he took his phone out before taking  a photo. I gave him a look as he started at his phone.
"Beautiful." He mumbled. Wait, he couldn't have. I must be imagining things. He probably said 'full a foo' yeah that's it. He looked up from his phone and smiled at me. Just this simple act caused a zoo of butterflies to erupt.
"Um, we should head back." I said smiling.
"Yeah." He replied, almost in a daydream.

-At home-

"HONEY IM HOME!" I screamed throughout the house. Within a few seconds everybody was by my side asking how I felt.
"Guys I'm fine!" I chuckled. "But where's Abi and Hunter?" I questioned.
"They went in their date, Hunter said that he couldn't wait until tonight so they made it into an all day sorta thing." Explained Brandon.
"Oh okay." I said before walking into the kitchen to grab an apple. The boys followed me and sat down looking at me.
"What are you all looking at?" I asked before taking a bite out of my apple.
"It's just...we've never seen you without a cast before." Said Aaron.
"But you saw me dance." I pointed out.
"Yeah but...oh you know what I mean." He said.
"Speaking of which, can we see you dance?" Asked Taylor. They all stared at me with puppy dog eyes and pouted lips.
"Absolutely not." I said.
"What why?" They said in unison.
"Because I haven't danced in weeks so I'm rusty." I explained.
"Please?"
"No"
"Please!"
"No"
"Please Jade?"
"No." I said. My answer was final! I hate people seeing me fail so there was no way that they could see that. Daniel stood up and towered over me but in a gentle way. He grabbed my hands and stared into my eyes.
"Please, for me?" He whispered. I could feel his cool breath against my neck and it made me shudder under his touch.
"O-Okay." I said. He smiled victoriously and gave me a hug.
"Meet me in the dance studio in 20 minutes." I told the boys before heading off to my room. One I arrived, I walked straight to my dance wear and picked out a plain black leotard and my shoes. I quickly changed and headed down before I stretched for 10 minutes. I hooked my phone up to the speakers and did some freestyle hip-hop dancing before moving onto ballet. The boys walked in and I stopped.
"So, are you ready?" Dylan asked. I nodded my head and started the music before dancing (video above). I poured all of my emotions into this dance and by the time I was finished they all stood there with their jaws open and eyes wide.
"Uh, are you guys okay?" I asked. They all nodded frantically before bursting out in a round of applause.
"Jade that-that was amazing!" Cameron screamed. I giggled and walked over to give him a hug as a thank you. As I let go I felt myself being wrapped in a different pair of arms. By the tingling sensation in my skin I knew it was Daniel. I clung on even tighter and he bent down and whispered something in my ear.
"You looked beautiful out there." He whispered. Naturally, a huge smile crossed my face as I looked up at him.
"Thank you." I whispered. We let go of each other and saw the boys looking at us with devious smirks. Instantly my face grew hot and I walked out of the dance studio to avoid any further embarrassment. I went straight up to my room and grabbed a snickers bar before watching an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Which turned into two episodes which may or may not have turned into 5 hours. I looked up and saw that it was dark outside. Abi still wasn't back but I was too tired to stay up for her. She'll wake me up anyway. I put my phone on charge and let the darkness surround me.
