The date

*Abi's POV*

After Hunter and I went our separate ways I bolted up to Jade's room and ran in. This is the good thing about he room; you can't find it unless you know where to look. I closed the door and jumped on her.
"JADE WAKE UP WAKE UP. I HAVE SO MUCH TO TELL YOU! PLEASE WAKE UP!" I screamed. Jade sat up which resulted in the collision of our heads. Ouch.
"OMG IM SORRY I TRIED TO STAY UP BUT I COULDNT! TELL ME ABOUT YOUR DATE AND DON'T LEAVE OUT A SINGLE DETAIL!" She replied loudly.
"Okay so...."

-Flashback-

It was around 9 in the morning when I awoke. The air just seemed clearer and the sun shine brighter than ever before...BECAUSE I'M GOING ON A DATE WITH HUNTER!!! I ripped the sheets off of me which I instantly regretted.
"Cold cold cold cold cold cold oh that's collldddddd." I mutters to myself. I slid a jumper on over my pyjama shorts and shirt before putting on my slippers. I rolled out of bed James Bond style and silently crept over to Jade's room making sure none of the boys saw me. I opened the door and saw a beautiful dress laying on the bed with a note.
"Hello to my favourite idiot in the hole entirety of the world,

So...I went to get my cast taken off but I should be back in time to help you get ready if your date is still at 8. Okay you need to pair this with the black wedges that are under my bed and the gold bracelet that's inside them. Yes I know, I'm a good friend for getting you all of this but in return I would like you to have the best first date that anybody could possibly imagine. Can you do that for me? Thanks. Oh and also if you look in my desk I left you something else. Have fun!

I smiled at what a goofball my best friend is and walked over to the desk and put the note down. I saw a mint green bag with white polka dots and I knew it was for me. I opened it and saw a jar of Nutella and a small box. Inside the box lay a small infinity necklace which had the word 'Jabi' engraved on the back. I smiled and put the necklace back in the box before taking my outfit (and Nutella) back to my room. I laid it in my bed before walking out and locking my door. Nobody can even get a sneak preview of what I'm wearing. Slowly, I walked downstairs and headed straight for the kitchen. Quickly, I made myself a bowl of cereal and scarfed it down quicker than you can say ''MagCon". Just then Dylan walked into the room and smiled at me.
"Good morning miss Abigail." He said in a posh accent.
"Good day kind sir." I replied, mimicking him. He chuckled and sat next to me.
"Oh Hunter said that he wanted to move your date along to," and then he looked at his watch "4 o'clock." He said before walking away. WAIT WHAT?!?! Sprinting, I went upstairs and took the longest shower of my life before shaving and drying off. I wrapped my towel around me and took a brush through my now knotty hair before drying and curling it to perfection. I looked at the clock and saw that I had 10 minutes left. I walked back into my room and slid on my outfit gracefully. Oh who am I kidding? I fell over four times and almost broke my arm. Next, I grabbed my clutch and threw in my phone, lip balm, keys, money and earphones. I ran to the mirror and looked at myself. Yep, still slaying. I did a sassy hair flick and walked over to the bed and scrolled through Twitter until Hunter knocked on my door. I opened it to see him standing there with a bouquet of white roses. My favourites.
"Woah, you look absolutely, woah! You're so beautiful." He said before handing me the flowers. "I took the thorns off because I didn't want to to prick yourself." He said sweetly.
"T-thank you." I stuttered. Gosh I don't know why I was so nervous. It was Hunter! We could talk about anything. I mean yeah I know that this is my first date and everything and sure, he looks like a Greek god that has been hand carved by God himself. I mean he looked like perfection in human form. His hair was perfectly styled into a neat quiff, his button up was perfectly ironed and his shoes were immaculate. What did I ever do to deserve him? I really like Hunter and I just don't want to mess this up.
"Thank you." He said with a small smirk. "You're pretty perfect too Abi." He said. Wait.....oh god I was thinking out loud wasn't I?
"Yeah you were." He said with a chuckle.
"Oops." I said with a chuckle. "Anyways, where are we going?" I asked.
"You'll see. Now, out this blind on and hop on my back." He told me. I gave him a look and didn't move. He stepped forwards and grabbed my hand.
"Do you trust me?" He asked not breaking eye contact.
"With my life." I replied. With this I hopped on his back and we started walking. For about 10 minutes he walked until he came to a stop and gently placed me down.
"Okay, you can look now." He said. I removed the blindfold to see that we were at the beach by the pier. The sun was a beautiful red colour and the whole thing was perfect especially Hunter.
"Hunter this is-"
"Beautiful." He said. I nodded in agreement but realised that he wasn't talking about the sunset. My cheeks went a red colour which made him chuckle.
"C'mon, let's go over there." He said whilst pointing to a large roller coaster. We ran to the line and to my surprise got straight on. After many twists and turns the ride finished much to our dismay. We went on a few other rides before grabbing some cotton candy and heading over to the Ferris wheel. We climbed on and started talking.
"So, what's you're biggest goal?" I asked him.
"I want to make people happy. As cheesy as that sounds it's all I truly want to do." He said making me smile.
"What do you want to do?" He asked. I thought for a moment before giving my response.
"I want to help people. I don't think it's fair that I have so much and they have nothing. I just want a job where I can help them and make their lives better, even if it's just by a little bit." I said before looking down. Hunter lifted my chin up until I was looking him dead in the eyes.
"Well you've helped plenty of people already." He said
"I have?" I asked. He smiled and nodded.
"You've helped me. Ever since I met you you've made my life better. You have this effect on me that I can't explain. It's like living your favourite day but constantly. You make me happy and feel like I can do anything. You make me believe that anything is possible even if nobody else does. And I know that the best way to spend my time is with you, because you're the best thing that has ever happened to me." He finished. Tears fell freely from my face with happiness.
"Hunter I don't know what to say. You are the best thing that's ever happened to me too and I mean that. You make me feel so special and important and u can never thank you enough for that because I don't know how to." I finished.
"There's one way." He said.
"What's that?" I questioned.
"Kiss me." He said before leaning in. My eyes fluttered and eventually closed. My heart was pounding and I had a zoo in my stomach. Our lips crashed and moved in sync. The feeling in my stomach multiplied and I smiled into the kiss. We pulled apart, foreheads touching and just looked at each other savouring the moment. We stayed like this for what felt like hours when in reality it was a few moments.
"I-I love you Abi." He told me. I was shocked but I knew exactly how I felt.
"I love you too Hunter." I said truthfully.
"One last thing, will you please please please be me girlfriend?" He asked me with his killer smile.
"Yes." I replied hugging him.
-End of flashback-

I finished the story with a smile on my face and snapped out of my trance to see Jade bawling her eyes out.
"T-that's just s-s-so cute." She sobbed. I chuckled at her and sighed.
"Oh and thank you for all of this." I said gesturing to my outfit.
"Well what are friends for? I had to make sure my best friend slayed on her first date." She said. I smiled at her.
"Like you did?" I asked. She gave me a weird look. "Oh come on! I'm certain you looked gorgeous on your first date." I told her.
"I haven't been on a date before. Or had my first kiss or had a boyfriend." She told me casually. 
"You're kidding me! But how, boys must be head over heels in love with you!" I said. She laughed at me.
"That's you boo! No guy ever looks at me in that way." She said.
"That's false, what about Daniel?" I said with a smirk.
"What about him?" She asked innocently. Oh my god. She didn't know. Daniel likes her and she doesn't know. Time to play Cupid.
