It Was All In My Head

I heard hushed whispers above me but all I could think about was my headache. Was I hungover? No I couldn't be; I didn't drink. Was I drugged? Slowly, the whispers became louder until I could clearly hear what was being said.
"Abigail that is literally the stupidest idea I have ever hear of." Spoke Dylan.
"Listen I know my best friend. This is the way to get her up." She said. Can they please stop talking? They are so annoying. Then all the voices disappeared and the sweet sweet smell of pancakes filled the air.
"Ughjsksnsnkswnwi" I mumbled as I not so graciously rolled off of the sofa. Slowly, I opened my eyes and literally crawled into the kitchen before sitting down on the floor with my arms out. Abi then placed a fork in my hand and gave me a plate full of her pancakes. I ate them in silence whilst everybody stared at my half dead state.
"Bu-but how?!" Exclaimed Dylan before walking towards me and trying to steal my food. I smacked his hand away and glared at him.
"My pancakes." I said like a three-year-old. Nobody touches my food. He fake cried into Aarons shoulder whilst Aaron patted his head.
"So how you feeling boo?" My best friend asked me.
"I'm okay, I have a really had headache though, what happened to me?" I asked.
"Oh well, uh, somebody punched you, several times. Everywhere. And then you started to feel dizzy so you passed out." She said slowly. I cracked a smile and laughed at myself.
"Wait, was it the guy at six flags?" I asked. They all nodded and I laughed.
"Well he deserves everything he got so...that's not my fault. How long was I out for?"
"Only two hours, it's now 1pm." Hunter informed me.
"Great! Let me get some aspirin and then we can head back." I said before jumping off the floor and heading to the cupboard. I washed two of them down with some water and then headed for the door.
"Oh no you don't missy! You can't just go back there after getting knocked out!" Jacob exclaimed. Challenge accepted.
"Watch me." I said before walking out of the door. I opened the car door and sat inside waiting for everyone. Eventually they realised that I was serious and came and sat with me with the exception of Abi who had an unexpected 'business' meeting about something. I was sat between Mark and Jacob and the rest of the boys were scattered around some not even on the proper seats.
"So, you promise not to start anything this time?" Weston asked looking directly at me. In response I drew a halo around my head which earned a laugh from all the boys.
"It's okay, I'll protect you!" Cam said puffing out his chest. Soon after all the boys copied his actions and left me in hysterics.
"Jade?" Said Cam. I looked up at him and by the nervousness in his eyes I knew what he was going to ask.
"Yes Cameron you may date Saffron even though she is my friend and I found her first." I said with a smile. He let out a great sigh of relief and smiled at me. Everyone went wild for Cameron as they knew he hadn't liked a girl in a very long time. Everything was slowly falling into place, well, almost everything.

-At six flags-

Once again we entered the park gates and split up. The older boys (Cam, Tay, Aaron, Carter and Dylan) went in one direction whereas the younger ones (me, Brandon, Hunter, Jacob, Mark, Weston and of course Daniel) went in the other. We went over to a large roller coaster of which I didn't know the name. There were seven of us meaning that I had to sit on my own. In the front there was Mark and Weston then Brandon and Hunter followed by Jacob and Daniel and then of course me. The ride began and soon we were being thrown in every direction you could think of. I screamed in excitement along with the boys and soon it came to an end. I stepped off and my legs felt like jelly.
"Woah you okay there?" Asked Brandon with a chuckle.
"Yeah but I feel like I'm around 76% jelly right now." I chuckled. They all laughed at me and we walked over to the next ride. We did this for around 2 hours making sure to switch partners so nobody was alone. Now it was time for the last coaster of the day and I was sat next to Daniel. I made sure to leave this one until last as it was the largest and the scariest. We sat down and took out positions.
"You scared?" Daniel asked me. Yes. I was terrified.
"Nope." I said with fear evident in my voice. He chuckled and the ride began. We moved around the first corner before moving up the large, large hill. Okay now I'm scared. I grabbed Daniels hand and leant in towards him. Suddenly all of my fear disappeared. The ride took us through many loops, drops, turns and everything in-between however Daniel and I never let go of each other. Once it came to a halt Daniel stood up and took my hand to help me up. I thanked him and the boys crowded around us.
"That was awesome!" Hunter exclaimed.
"Yeah, that was amazing." I breathed out. I wasn't talking about the ride though. I looked at Weston and he was mad. His fists were clenched and shaking. What was his problem? Mark noticed and tried to calm him down. Okay then. My hand had a strange tingling sensation and I looked down at it to see that Daniel was still holding my hand. Oh. That's why. I smiled and blushed when unfortunately he let go. I noticed that he was communicating with Mark through a silent language that I couldn't decipher. My heart felt heavy and tears began to prick at my eyes. Daniel didn't like me. It was all in my head.

*Abi's POV*

I GOT IT! I GOT THE JOB! I DID IT AND NOW MY DREAMS ARE COMING TRUE!
