I gaze around my study with unwavering intensity
"Can you knock down that wall? Make the room more open and spacious?" I ask the contractor
He nods his head as he scribbles on his note pad
He takes a couple more measurements of the room and scribbles some more on his note pad
"I'll be back with you in a couple of days," he explains and I nod my head
The next day I meet with the decorator
"So you're knocking down the wall?" He asks pointing at the wall
I fold my arms across my chest and nod my head
"Brilliant, it'll open up the room more! What ideas do you have in your mind?" He asks excitedly pacing up and down the room
"I haven't found the sex of the baby yet so I want everything neutral. Other than that go wild," I reply
The decorator smiles excitedly and explains he'll have some mood boards ready for me by the end of the week
"And the mother?" He asks tentatively
"I'll show her when it's done. It's going to be a surprise," I say sadly
He nods his head before leaving
Sighing heavily, I sit cross legged in the middle of the study and gaze around the room
A small smile tugs itself on the side of my mouth
I'm going to shower this baby with love and affection
