I rushed down the hallway. Ugh.... I'm gonna be late for class! And on the first day too.....
I pulled at my uniform shirt, trying to keep it looking presentable.
Suddenly I feel something bump into me, knocking me down and all my books onto the floor.
"Hey! Watch where you're going!" I yelled.
"Hey, I'm sorry. You want me to help you?"
I looked up at the person I bumped into. He was maybe about a year older than me, with messy pitch black hair, and blue eyes.
Great, I thought. Just what I need. An arrogant pretty boy.
He bent down to help me.
"I got it. It's fine,"I said, annoyed.
"Oh, ok. Ummmm.... Nice bumping into you... I'm Zane by the way."
"Aria."
I hurriedly picked up my books and rushed up the stairs. Please let me be on time.... Please let me be on time.....
"See you around!" Zane yelled after me.
What is his problem? Well, I can't deal with him right now, I need to get to.... Aah, here it is!
I popped into class, hoping my hair still looked ok.
"Aah, this must be our new student! Aria Black, am I correct?"
"Yes, ma'am."
"Well, go ahead and take a seat then."
I sat next to a pretty girl, with long, brown hair.
"Hi," she said to me.
"Hey".
"Sooooo....." I twiddled my thumbs.
"Well, this is awkward."
"Yeah, it is," I laughed.
"My sister told me that one time, she and her friends pranked Mrs. Hucks by putting a HUGE stink bomb under the seat of her chair. The second she sat on it, WHOOSH. They say that even the track team couldn't run that fast."
"That sounds awesome! Someone should totally do that this year!" I replied.
"I'm sorry ladies. Am I interrupting something?" Mrs. Hucks said, standing over us.
"Sorry,"we both said.
As Mrs. Hucks walked away, I whispered to the girl," Yknow I didn't quite catch your name."
"It's Gianna, but some people just call me Gigi. You're Aria, right?"
"Yup."
First day and I've already made a friend. Let's just hope I don't wreck anything.
