Kiyoko stood there in the hallway waiting for Noroi. She looked down at her watch. 6:31. What could be taking him so long? she thought to herself. She turned on her heel and entered his room. It was empty minus the presence of a desk, a bed, and his gun propped in the corner.
Where is he? She continued to look all around the room in curiosity, for it appeared that Noroi wasn’t there. Just as she was about to leave and ask around, she heard a slight muttering.
“396...397...” She looked up. There in the rafters, was Noroi, who appeared to be doing one handed push-ups. “398...399...400!” At this, he stopped, and got to his feet. looking around, he finally noticed Kiyoko.
“Do you have a habit with seeing people shirtless?” He asked jokingly, as he replaced his upper-clothing.
“Ummm...No. Sorry.” she muttered blushing.
“It’s alright. I honestly could care less. Sorry for the wait, though. My fault.” He hopped down from the rafters and stood next to Kiyoko. “Well, I suppose we got to go?”
“Oh! Yes. We have to get to the airport in....25 minutes.”
“7 o’clock, eh? Don’t worry. I’ll get us there in a jiffy.”
“How?”
“You’ll just wait and see,” he said grinning. “Now let me grab my coat....”
“That reminds me. Here,” She held out a folded up jacket, “It’s your new coat. Daimon asked me to give it to you.” Noroi smiled.
“Thanks. So, let’s get going,” he said enthusiastically as he buttoned the new jacket.
“Again, how? We can’t get there in...23 minutes in traffic. It’s impossible!”
“I know. That’s why, we’re not driving. Meet me out front.”
“Okay, now that we’re out here, what do you plan to do? Hmmmm?”
“Well, which way is the airport?”
“That way,” as she gestures to the North, “about 12 miles.”
“Okay then. Hold on to me.”
“What?”
“Hurry. Hold on to me.” She grabbed hold of Noroi’s waist and practically hugged it. “Good. Hold on tight.” He pulled out his gun, and pointed it at the ground. “Kakuchō! (Extend!)” The gun multiplied in size, shooting them high into the air. He then fired several rounds to the South, propelling them North.
“AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!” Kiyoko screamed as she clung on to Noroi.
“Don’t worry. We’re almost there. See. It’s right there.” She opened her eyes for a moment. The airport was visible now, and they were flying at insane speed. She shut her eyes again.
“And how do we land?!?!?”
Don’t worry! I’ll take care of that!”
“All right.....”
Noroi re-angled his gun so now the tip was pointed up. He fired several more shells. Kiyoko screamed again, because she was a hundred percent sure that they were going to die or something. Who could survive rocketing towards the ground from cloud level? She squeezed her eyes shut even tighter.
“Ummm...We’re here.”
“Huh?” Kiyoko opened her eyes. They were now sitting on Noroi’s gun, and she was still clutching him like she was three minutes ago. “Oh. Sorry,” she said turning slightly pink.
