AI just thought of the most brilliant idea! See what I did there? Alright so me and Nikki are both AMERICAN 💕 but I think I want to try to throw in some British slang in the story and then the AMERICAN translation will be in the A/N at the bottom. Only one at the most so it won't be too much to pile on you plus I thought if any of you would like to know some British words for fun HEY here's your chance :D It will be starred if there is a translation and besides most of their words you'll be able to guess the meaning because most are similar but I still thought it was a cute idea anyways. Niall's POV

Where were they? I I held my hand in a salute to keep the sun's torturous ray's out of my face as I quickly scanned the perimeter around the pond. I was feeling a bit skittish for they had been gone for almost 15 minutes after they had taken off for the woods. It wasn't just my concern for their safety that was feeding my curiosity for it was also my nerves in hope that they weren't doing anything"frisky". Zayn and Liam were chatting away like it was nobody's business as I was on the verge of turning around and telling them to shut the hell up. I swear I heard shouting a moment ago but I couldn't be sure because of the children nearby playing some sort of "mud tag".  

"Niall mate would you like to join is in a game of *noughts and crosses?" Liam asked me as he drew the board in the dirt with his finger. 

"I'm good." I said quickly waving him away as I still scanned the banks searching for their faces. Without any notice beforehand I spotted a speck that was getting closer on the opposite shore of the pond. 

Maddie? 

As she neared us, full sprint she began to shout. 

"The British are coming! The British are coming!" 

I gave a little chuckle at her exclamation until I noticed her facial expression was serious and her demeanor showed no signs of joking around. 

She finally neared us her face flushed, as she breathed heavily. Liam stood up abruptly, giving her a quizzical look. 

"What do you mean by that Maddie?" He asked as she slowed to a stop. 

"Paparazzi."  

Liam's eyes grew big in understanding and he turned around quickly to address the other boys with the news. 

I looked back up at Maddie, realizing she had pulled out her iPod and was now frantically tapping away. 

"What are you doing?" I asked. 

She only held up a finger to silence me giving me no response. After about thirty quick seconds she let out a groan.  

"This is what I get for having an IPod. The reception here is terrible." 

I noticed she was biting her lip as she shook her head frustrated which was to me was incredibly adorable. 

"Maybe I can help." I offered politely. 

She gave me a smile but her eyes still showed anxiety. 

"That's extremely sweet of you, but unless you have a phone or if you can be a tree than I don't see what else you could do." 

Unfortunately, me and the other lads besides Liam had forgotten our phones and of course Liam had left his phone in the car. 

I just gave her my best wink which I had stolen from Harry and flashed her a grin. "Have no fear for Niall is here." And with that I knelt on the ground gesturing for her to hop on my back.
