Chapter 10: The Date

—Aphmau's P.O.V.————————
I wake up and, go downstairs for breakfast. I go downstairs and see both Katelyn and Kawii~Chan. "Good morning Aphmau~Senpai" Kawii~Chan said. "Good morning Kawii~Chan" I said. "So Kawii~Chan was wondering if Aphmau~Senpai would like to go to the mall with Kawii~Chan" she said. "I'm sorry Kawii~Chan but, I already have plans" I said. I look over at Katelyn and, see that she was about to say something about Laurance. Before she got the chance to say something, I said "Hey Katelyn? Can I talk to you real quick." "What" she asked. "Look, I don't want Kawii~Chan knowing about me hanging out with Laurance because she is gonna think we are a thing" I said. "But you are a thing" she said. "Stop that. We are not a thing. Besides, she takes it to another level when it comes to things like this" I said. "I know. I still can't believe that she made a shrine for you and Aaron-" she said then stopping herself. I stay quiet. "I-I'm sorry I didn't mean to" she said. "It's ok" I said softly. "If it makes you happy I won't say anything" she said rolling her eyes. "Thanks Katelyn. I'm going to go get ready" I said walking up the stairs. "Are you gonna eat breakfast" she asked. "I'll eat when I'm done" I said. "Ok" Katelyn said. "Now time to pick out an outfit" I said to myself.

I finally find something to wear. I was wearing a galaxy shirt with black shorts and, black high tops. I go back downstairs to go and eat. Once I'm done I head back to my room. "Aphmau~Senpai can Kawii~Chan ask Aphmau~Senpai a question" Kawii~Chan asked right before I went in my room. "Sure what is it" I said. "What was Aphmau~Senpai and Katelyn~Sama talking about earlier" she asked. I start to panic. "Uh we were talking about the groceries . Yeah groceries" I said. "Ok Kawii~Chan was just wondering" she said. "Ok gotta go bye" I said quickly while going to my room. "That was close" I said to myself. I go on my phone and wait for it to be 7pm.

—Laurance's P.O.V.————————
I look over at my clock and see that it's 6:45pm. "Crap! I gotta get ready. I can't be late again" I said to myself. I get and changed into a striped hoodie with jeans and, black and red shoes. I look in the mirror and fix my hair. "Going somewhere special" someone said behind me. I look at the mirror to see who it was. It was Travis. "I'm just going to hang out with Aphmau. I said while still fixing my hair. "Are you two a thing" he asked. "I don't know" I said looking at him through the mirror. "Well do you want to be a thing" he asked while me leaning against the wall. "Well kinda. Why" I said turning around to face him. "I can make it happen" he said. "I'm going to regret this but, I'm listening" I said. "Ok, well first things first. Where are you taking her" Travis said. "I'm taking her somewhere special" I said. "Liiike...?" Travis said. "Liiike a place that I'm not gonna tell you. Thanks but, I think I'm good with this one" I said. "Fine then. Don't come asking me for help than" he said walking away. I laughed then looked at my phone. It was 6:55pm. "Looks like it's time to go" I said to myself.

I walk over to Aphmau's house. I look back at my phone to see what time it was. "6:58pm nice" I said to myself. I knock on the door. Katelyn answers the door. "Hey Laurance. Come on in" she said. "Thanks" I said as I walk in the door. "So what are you doing here" she asked. "I'm here to pickup Aphmau. We are gonna hangout" I said. "Ok cool" she said. Then there was an awkward silence. Katelyn broke the silence by pinning me to the wall and said "I swear if you hurt her or touch her I will end you! Do you understand?" "Y-Yes mam" I said nervously. "Good" she said as she loosened her grip. Just the Aphmau came down stairs. "Hey Laurance" she said. "Hey Aph. You look amazing" I said. "Aw thanks. Well I think you look handsome" she smiled. I smiled back. "Ew you guys are gross" Katelyn said. Aphmau laughed. "What are you jealous" she asked. "W-What?!?! No" Katelyn said. Both Aphmau and I start to laugh. "Come down I was joking" Aphmau said. "I knew that" Katelyn said. Then it went silent. I break the silence and ask "Alright are you ready?" "Yup lets go" she said. I lead her out the door. Just as I'm about to walk out, Katelyn grabs my arm and said "Remember what I said." "O-Ok" I said. To be honest, she scares the crap out of me. We walk to Aphmau's car. "So where are we going" Aphmau asked. "It's a surprise. Here put this on" I said while handing her a blindfold. She laughed and said "Really." "Yes really. Here let me help you" I said as a tie it for her. I then lead her into the passenger seat. "I'm sorry if Katelyn scared you" she said. "Huh? Oh you saw that" I asked. "No I could tell she was being overprotective. She did with Aaron..."she said. It goes silent. "So she's overprotective, huh" I asked trying to change the subject. "Yeah. It can get annoying sometimes though. Whenever we all hang out, she gets upset if you, Garroth, Dante, or Travis gets near me" she said. "She's just trying to look out for you" I said. "I know but, it still can be annoying" she said. It goes silent again. I break the silence and turn on the radio. Aphmau starts to sing and dance again. We both were laughing the rest of the car ride. All right we're here" I said. "Yay I can't wait to take this off" she said. "Ok hold on let me walk you there" I laughed. I take the blindfold off and said "surprise!" She gasps. "L-Laurance...this is beautiful" she said while hugging me. We were back at the place where here they buried Aphmau's dad. "I got up super early and, decorated the place. I hope this isn't to much though" I said. "Are you kidding?!? This is the best" she said. I smiled and we ate at the picnic I made. When we were done I asked "Wanna dance?" "Uh sure but, I'm not a good dancer as you saw in the car" she laughed. "Don't worry. I'll lead" I said. "Ok" she smiled. We get up and dance. We spent the rest of the dancing and having fun. Once we get back into the car, Aphmau starts to dance and sing to the radio. I laughed and sang along.

Once we get out of the car, I walk her up to her door. "Thanks Laurance. I had a great time" Aphmau said. "I had fun too" I smiled. We look into each other's eyes. I smiled. "What" she asked. "Nothing it's just that you look so pretty in the moon light" I said. She starts to blush. "Good night Aph" I said. "Good night Laurance" she said. Just as I'm about to walk back to my house, I hear Aphmau's voice "Laurance wait" she shouted while running towards me. She jumped into my arms and kissed me. I look at her in shock. "S-Sorry..." She said embarrassed. Both of us were blushing bright red. "It's ok" I said leaning in to kiss her again. When she pulled back, she looked up at me. "Wanna hangout again" she asked. "Sure" I smiled. "Ok. Good night" she said walking back to her house. "Good night Aphmau" I said.

"Man what a day" I said to myself. I walk up to my door and, just as I'm about to unlock it, everything goes black.
