Chapter 13: The Alley

—Aphmau's P.O.V.————————
I look at my watch. "11:45pm. Alright...Let's go get Laurance back" I thought to myself trying to be positive.

Just as I'm about to leave, someone grabs my wrist. I turn around and see Katelyn. "Please be careful" she said. "I will. And I will bring Laurance back" I said confidently. She nodded her head and let go of me. I headed out the door and, start walking near the park.

—Laurance's P.O.V.————————
I wake up in a dark cold place. "Where am I" I asked myself. "You're in an alley here to meet your little girlfriend" someone said while walking up to me. Then I realized that it was the mysterious person. "She's not my girlfriend...not yet at least" I said. "Good because that's the thing. You are in my way. I want you to stay away from her" they said. "What will happen if I don't do what you say" I said. "What will happen? What will happen is that someone will get hurt. And that someone is Aphmau. It will be worse than what happened to you" they said. "How do you know Aphmau" I asked. "That's none of your concern. Oh look, someone's coming. It's show time" they said.

I still couldn't see very well but, all I could see was a figure coming towards us. Please don't be Aphmau. Please don't be Aphmau. Please don't be Aphmau. She would be smart enough not to come. For her own safety, right? Or will she do anything to see me? Welp I guess I'm about to find out.

The figure gets closer. I her a faint "Hello" echo in the alley. I automatically knew it was Aphmau. "L-Laurance? LAURANCE" she shouted while running over to me. I was on my knees with my hands tied behind my back. Just as Aphmau was about to reach me, the mysterious person walked in front of her. "W-Who are you? Are you the one you gave Katelyn the note" she asked. The mysterious person starts to laugh in an evil way. "Yup! That was me" they laughed. "Enough with your games! Can I just have him back" Aphmau said. "Oh but, that wouldn't be as fun" they said as they held a knife to my neck. "They wouldn't do it. The mysterious person is a coward and, this I knew was true" I thought. "W-WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?! PLEASE DON'T DO THIS" Aphmau shouted. I could tell she was about to cry. "Oh don't worry sweetheart. He'll be fine. It was nice to see you Aphmau. I hope we meet again" they laughed while putting a cloth with something on it on my mouth. Everything starts to spin and slowly goes black. Seriously this is ridiculous! Why does this ALWAYS happen to me?!?!

—Aphmau's P.O.V.————————
The person who had Laurance all of a sudden vanished. I couldn't see anything. They must have thrown a smoke bomb and ran. "That's cliché..." I mumble under my breath. My vision finally comes back. I look at where the mysterious person and Laurance was but, the only thing is that Laurance wasn't there. "No these can't be happening..." I said. I heard movement behind me. I slowly turn around and, see Laurance sitting there lifelessly. "Laurance! It's ok you will be alright" I said while running over to him. I untie his hands and, try to pick him up. Geez he's heavier than he looks. Now I wish I drove here. Ugh lets just get Laurance to a safe place.

I finally get to my house while dragging Laurance on my back. Once we are in my house, I lay Laurance on the couch. "Aphmau are you home" someone asked. I look at the top of the stairs and, see Katelyn walking down. "Yeah I'm here..." I said softly. "Thank Irene you're ok" she said while coming downstairs and, hugging me. "Why wouldn't I be fine" I asked. "We've been worried about you because you've been gone for and hour or two" Katelyn said. "What" I said while looking at my watch. It was 1:52am. I was so focused on getting Laurance to a safe place, that I didn't realize all the lights were out. "You better get to bed Aph" Katelyn said. "I'm not going to bed without knowing Laurance is ok" I said as I look over at Laurance. Katelyn goes over to him and, checks his pulse. "He's alive, now can we please go to bed. He'll be here in the morning" she said. I could tell she didn't have any patients. I didn't want to argue with her. "Ok I'll go to bed" I said while walking upstairs.

I get ready for bed and, turn out the light. I slowly fall asleep.

—Laurance's P.O.V.————————
I wake up on a couch. I look over at the clock. It was 3:48am. "Where am I" I asked myself. I get up and, try to find the door. This place seems so familiar. I wonder why. I find the door and, I see my house. "Wow I must be close to where the house was" I thought. I realized that I was across the street at Aphmau's place. "Wait, did Katelyn or Kawii~Chan trap me? I know Aphmau wouldn't. Oh well" I thought to myself as I walk across the street. My vision was slowly coming back to me. It was good enough that I could see where the door was to the house. I walk quietly through the door so I won't wake anyone up. I'm finally in my room. I sighed in relief and, go to bed.

—Aphmau's P.O.V.————————
Once I wake up, I remembered that Laurance is back. I quickly run downstairs to see him. The only problem was that he wasn't there. I checked through out the whole house to try and find him but, nothing. I burst out into tears on the floor.

"Aphmau~Senpai? Is Aphmau~Senpai ok" a voice said. I look up and, see Kawii~Chan running over to me. "H-He's gone! W-We just got h-him back" I sobbed. "Kawii~Chan knows that we will get Laurance~Kun back" she said trying to comfort me. "Please be ok..."
