Chapter 14

"Or NOT!" I yelled and grabbed Allison's wrist.

I twisted her around and pushed her against the wall.

"You don't know what I'm willing to do to save my friends from any danger." I hissed.

I could practically see that disgusting smirk on her face.

"I know because I've been watching you." She grunted in pain.

"Who are you?" I asked.

"Why, it's me, Allison."

"I'm going to ask you again. Who are you?" I asked.

She loosened my grip and turned around.

"You know, being evil isn't that bad. Why don't you join the dark side? It's rather fun." She said with an evil grin.

I made a face.

"No!" I exclaimed.

She cackled. CACKLED! Who does that?! She literally sounds like a dying cat that was just hit by a car.

I snorted.

"That's very un-ladylike Emily."

"Fuck off, bitch." I hissed.

"Feisty. Just watch your back, and don't forget to warn your friends. I'm coming after all of you. One, by, one!" She yelled before sprinting out of my room.

I took out my phone and texted everyone.

Me- EVERYONE TO MY ROOM NOW!

Mark- Why?

Me- Don't ask any questions. Just come. Now!

Adria- Even Toni and Tabitha?

Me- No shit Sherlock!

Tabitha- :)

Toni- Ok...?

I impatiently waited for everyone to show up. I paced around my room. I couldn't sit still. When everyone finally arrived I told them what happened-except the secret thing.

"I TOLD YOU!" Adria yelled. "Allison is NO GOOD!"

"The things is, I don't think it's really her. Remember how Lex impersonated my brother? Yea well this can be another imposter." I said.

"Allison going to the other side isn't like her. It has to be an imposter." Travis said.

"I'm probably not any help because I don't know her, but we need to be careful. Rumor has it that the villains are planning something. We just don't know what." Simon said.

"It's just a rumor, but you're right. We need to keep our eyes peeled. We can't let an imposter walk around campus." Mark said.

I nodded.

"So she really wanted you to knock me out and drag me to her so she can run some 'tests'?" Travis asked.

"Mhmm." I hummed.

He shivered.

"I wasn't going to do it." I said.

"What was her blackmail?" Toni asked.

"Um... Nothing." I said.

"Tell us." Simon said.

I looked at Zach who looked down at the floor.

Great. I'm on my own for this one.

"Well... She said she would... Kidnap Adria!" I lied.

Adria jumped.

"That hoe isn't gonna lay a finger on me!" She yelled.

I giggled.

"Don't worry. I don't think she's actually going to do it." I said.

"So how can we stay safe?" Tabitha asked.

"I have an idea." I said.

I raced down to the director's office and knocked on the door.

"Come in!"

"Hi, Mr. Young. I have a bit of a concern." I said.

"I'm listening."

"Well, you see, Allison has been acting very strange. She's acting evil- in a way- that is concerning many of the other trainees. Could you make sure there are guards at her door at night so we know we are safe?" I very politely suggested.

He pondered on the question for a while.

"I guess if it makes everyone else feel safe." He said.

"Thank you!"

"Just like that?" Adria asked.

"Just like that." I said.

I was telling her how Mr. Young actually said yes to a suggestion.

"He never says yes to anyone." She said.

"I know. It was a long shot asking him to do it." I said.

My phone buzzed.

Toni- I think Tabitha and I owe you an apology.

Adria looked at her phone as well.

"Group chat?" She asked.

I nodded.

Tabitha- Yea. I'm sorry that I pushed you to do something you didn't think was good to do.

Me- It's ok. I mean we're still best friends so it doesn't matter anymore.

Adria- :)

Toni- YAS! :P

I set my phone down and shook my head.

I just hope we're all safe.
