||Adria's POV||
I was thinking about what Emily told us. What's wrong with Allison?

Just then I spotted her in the hall so I decided to follow her. She rounded the corner and walked into a room. I watched through the window of the door as she approached a man. I quietly opened the door a crack and listened to their conversation.

"Scarlett. Nice to see you again." A low voice said.

Scarlett? Who's that?

"The pleasure's all mine." She said.

"How's the plan going?" The low voice asked again.

"It's going just as we want it to go. With the real Allison gone, this will be so much easier."

"It's a good thing you came up with the idea of capturing her."

"Well I am a genius." She said.

"Who's next?" The voice asked.

"That girl whose always around Emily. What's her name?"

"Adria."

Three hours later...

"Ugh!" I yelled as I dramatically flopped on my bed.

"What's wrong sis?" Mark asked.

"I've been texting and calling Adria for the past hour and there's no answer. I even checked her room and Toni said she hasn't seen her since this morning. I'm starting to get worried." I said.

"She's probably busy and can't get to you right now. Try not to worry too much." He said.

I nodded and picked my phone back up.

Me- I need your help.

Simon- Sure. What's up?

Me- We need to find Adria.

Simon- Why?

Me- She's been missing for three hours according to Toni and I've been trying to reach her for an hour now.

Simon- She's missing?

Me- Yes. Did you not just read my last text?

Simon- Sorry, but why do you want me to help you?

Me- Because I need to know that I can trust you. Also you're smarter than the rest of us.

Simon- Ok fine. Meet me in the tech lab. My teacher told me a few secrets about the lab that just might help you. Bring a bag and things you would bring on a mission.

Me- Ooh! Secrets!

Simon- Oh Lord. I'm going to regret this aren't I?

Me- Yes and no. Now let's get going.

I grabbed my sleepover bag- don't judge me- and stuffed it with two flashlights, water, batteries, and a jacket. You never know. Once I had to stay overnight in a classroom so I could grab my book without getting caught.

I slid my phone in my pocket and walked over to the door.

"Have fun at another sleepover." I heard Mark say.

"Yep. Sleepover. Bye." I said before sprinting away.

I saw Simon standing before me as k neared the tech lab.

"We have to be quiet. We can get in serious trouble for this." He whispered.

"Puh-leez. I've snuck around the campus so many times. It's nothing new."

He gaped at me.

"And to think you're supposed to be a superhero." He said shaking his head.
