Chapter 2

Clarke P.O.V

i am worken by the dreaded sound of my alarm clock, i turned to read the time resting on the side table 6:30, i let out a loud groan but was silenced when octavia threw her pillow at me

"shut up Clarke"

"shouldn't you be a wake, breakfast is in 30 minuets"

"i eat breakfast here so i can have an extra half an hours sleep"

"fair enough, wait wheres raven"

"oh that weirdo has gone for a run like usual"

i nod and head to the bath room to get dressed, i put on my uniform, tucked in my shirt and tied my tie, i then pulled my jumper over me and fixed my collar. i brush my teeth and do my hair so it has natural waves, i then but some natural makeup on.

i don't say goodbye to Octavia as i don't want to wake her back up, i leave the dorm and head to the dining hall, i grab a trey and stood inline, i saw a girl near the front being surrounded by two girls with Lexa standing behind them, the short black girl was speaking

"so monroe, why are you spreading rumours about us?" she was spitting in her face with venom in her words

i couldn't stand idle while this girl was bullied so i ran up, still holding my tray and step between monroe and the two girls, Lexa stood in the background emotionless

"Leave her alone"

"wow new girl coming to the rescue" the short back girl spoke again and then lightly pushed my shoulder, i was about to push back when

"Indra" Lexa had her hand raised and Indra stepped back with an evil grin on her face

"so Griffin, standing in for the losers now are we?" Lexa said with an eyebrow raised

"She's not a loser, you shouldn't bully people"

"oh sorry princess, my bad" with that she laughed and walked away with her two friends following close behind.

"t-t-thank you, I'm Zoe Monroe" she extended her hand while balancing her tray on the other

"im Clarke Griffin" i did the same and shook her hand

i walked to the back of the line and continued to wait for breakfast. when i finally got some porridge i when to sit on an empty table, i looked diagonal from me seeing Lexa and some more of her friends sitting, but then Lexa stood and walked over to me and whispered in my ear

"sorry about that princess, but next time don't get involved" and with that she walked back to her table, her breath sent chills down my spine and my heart rate increased every time she came close to me, why was she having this effect on me and why is she nice suddenly.

i was tapping my spoon on the side of the bowl while thinking of lexa when Raven came to sit opposite me

"hey Clarke. whats up"

"Lexa,thats whats up" as i said this i took a quick look at her and then diverted my eyes back to my spoon.

"Clarke, i have told you already, stay away from her, she will mess with your mind and feelings"

"i don't have feeling for her, I'm straight, I'm just curious about her"

"more like curious of your sexuality" Raven said this under her breath but i heard it but decided to ignore it

"you know the two girls that follow her everywhere, who are they?"

"they are her minions, Indra and Anya, they will do anything Lexa tells them too, Anya has that whole hot and fierce vibe coming from her, but Indra is just just scary, i mean i heard a rumor that she punched a puppy"
