Against The Rules (Clexa)

Chapter 7

Clarke P.O.V

Suddenly there was a knock at the door

"Hide" Lexa whispered while gently pushing me in the closet. wow i just came out and now I'm getting pushed back in. i watched trough the crack of the doors. Lexa opened the door with confidence,  it was Anya 

"we have a problem"

"what is it now Anya, i was kinda busy"

"doing what ?"

"whats the problem Anya?" Lexa started to become irritated

"theres a girl named Octavia, she's been taking about you"

"what about?"

"that you and Clarke have a thing"

"so what?"

"look I'm all for Clexa but you are not capable of getting in to a relationship, its not healthy for you, remember what happened last time" Clexa? and what happened last time? and why am i still hiding. with out thinking i walked out of the closet 

"Lexa whats going on?"

Lexa kept her stare at Anya, she seemed angry. she ignored me and continued to talk to Anya while Anya just looked at me in confusion 

"you are not to speak of that" Lexa was shouting at Anya, she turned to look back at Lexa

"Lexa, i can not allow you to do what you did before, your one night stands where fine, just go back to that if you're so lonely, you just can't get into a relationship"

"shut the fuck up Anya"

"have you told your new girlfriend about your old one yet?" Lexa didn't respond she just walked out and slammed the door behind her 

"I'm sorry Clarke, but you gotta leave her alone, you don't understand the situation she is in"

"well i can try to understand, do you have any idea where she would go?"

"check the roof" 

i walked out to find the stairs, i when up to the roof to see Lexa sitting with her legs hanging off the edge, i walked up to her and sat beside her 

"hey you alright?" i asked her but she kept looking to her feet, she was on the brink of tears, i place my hand on top of hers and held it, our fingers intertwining, she slowly looked up at her, she had a weak smile on

"i lost someone special to me" she started to look of into the distance. she then continued "her name was Costia. i was driving her home after she visited me, there was a crash and she" there was a pause, Lexa swallowed hard "she died, i thought i would never get over the pain but i did"

"how" my voice was shaky 

"by recognising it for what it is. Weakness"

"what is? Love? so you just stopped caring about everyone?" i looked at her and she looked at me, tears started to fill my eyes 

"not everyone, not you, you made me realise that i was wrong" a smile grew on my face, Lexa looked back to the distance and i rested my head on her shoulder

"do you ever think that there is an alternative universe out there, maybe one where people lived in the aftermath of a nuclear war, or one where theres a zombie apocalypse" i started to laugh at what i just said, but Lexa stayed silent

"you know Clarke its totally possible, and we will probably find a way to meet each other in every single one" i looked up and her and grabbed her cheek and pulled her in to a kiss.
