Chapter 22

Hey guys sorry i haven't uploaded in a while, i have been busy going to college interviews and job interviews. But i have also finally got my own laptop which i love, and this means that i can update more often, anyway sorry again for the late update and i hope you like this chapter, sorry about the mistakes.

Clarke's POV

Its been a week since i called Lexa and a stranger answered, i missed her everyday but i couldn't bring myself to call her again, has she moved on already? did she leave school? i had so many questions but i was too much of a coward to find answers to them.

I was walking to my English Lit class with Raven, she diddnt ask about Lexa because she knew i diddnt want to talk about it, instead she would ask me if i thought Octavia was single 

"just ask her if shes single, you two are like best friends, it wont be weird" i told raven as we walked towards her class

"i cant she will get all suspicious, cant you ask her for me" raven wined

"i cant just walk right up to Octavia an-" i was stopped mid sentence due to being elbowed by raven 

"you cant just walk up to me and what?" Octavia stood in front of us with her arms crossed, she mainly looked at raven who was trying to avoid eye contact with Octavia

"Are you single?" i asked her looking straight into her eyes 

"no im not, why do you wanna know" 

before i could open my mouth to answer raven quickly spoke "because i got a girlfriend and wanted to go on a double date with someone"

Octavia was silent for a moment, there was conflict in her expression, then she smiled "yeah that would be great, how about at the diner next Saturday"

"sounds good" both me and raven said our goodbyes to Octavia but as soon as she was out of sight raven began to freak out

"FUCKFUCKFUCKFUCK, why did i fucking say that, i cant get a girlfriend by then, i dont want a girlfriend, what do i do"

i felt bad for raven, she diddnt want a girlfriend as she thought it would be unfair on the girl as she had feelings for Octavia. "take me, we can tell her that you're dating me, we make her jealous and boom shes yours"

"are you sure your okay with this?"

"yes i am"

"thank you so much" Raven engulfed me into a hug "and im going to help you in return" and with that she walked into her class leaving me clueless on what shes going to help me with.

Lexa's POV

Costia has been so kind to me, she has given me food and a place to stay, i have tried to leave and go home multiple times but she say that i would be best if i stayed here. she deleted Clarke's number from my phone so there was no way i could talk to her, and shit, i really did want to talk to her and sort things out but im afraid to be rejected.

its been two weeks since Clarke dumped me over text, i woke up to a unknown number calling me

"Hello?"

"hey dis is the rave master Raven, i am calling to get you to come back and to talk to your girlfriend Clarke"

"shes not my girlfriend, she dumped me over text"

"she doesn't remember messaging you that though, she tried to call but a creepy lady answered and was like you i have your precious Lexa, dont come looking for her"

"what?......... look i cant face her, i fucked up, i know i should have told her, she was right"

"come down here then and tell her what you couldn't then, stop being an over dramatic asshole Lexa, i thought you were a badass but right now your sounding like a pussy" and with that raven hung up the phone

she was right, if i leave now i would be able to get back by Saturday night, i quickly packed y things which was really just my phone and i headed towards the door, but my path was blocked by Costia

"Lexa wait where are you going?"

"to Clarke, please let me go"

"shes just going to break your heart and you going to come back to me crying"

"Costia move" i said in a assertive voice, she then did as i said and i left to go to Clarke, i needed to explain everything to her.

when i finally got back i diddnt want to go straight to Clarke, i wanted to think everything through, plus i was hungry, i quickly went into my dorm and grabbed some money and went into the diner across the street from the dorms. i sat in the corner where it was private. i looked to my watch, it read 7. i should probably go to Clarke now, before she goes to sleep. before i could get up i looked to the couple who has just entered the dinner, it wad Octavia and Lincoln. they honestly made a cute couple, following behind them was two girls hand in hand, on with a pony tail and a baseball cap on so i wouldn't really see her face but the girl holding her hand was...... no, i was too late, it was Clarke. she looked beautiful, she had on ripped jeans and a white shirt with a blue flannel over it, her golden hair was down in natural waves, she looked happy. but i couldn't watch Clarke be happy with someone thats not me, i know im selfish but i couldn't take it

i walked out of the dinner quietly, trying not to be noticed but i needed to see Clarke's face one last time and so i made the mistake of looking to her, she was looking right back at me, i could see her silently mouth my name, but i quickly turned and disappeared into the alleyway next to the diner.
