Chapter 20

Clarke P.O.V

after the club finished Raven disappeared to somewhere i odnt know, she told me that she had to go and deal with something. i stepped of of the building to see that it began to rain. i felt a hand hold my shoulder, i looked to see who it was to find was Bellamy.

"hey" he looked at me and smiled, he pulled out an umbrella and held it above our heads

"hi, ill walk you home" i nodded but looked to his hand to get it off, once it was no longer touching me i looked back to Bellamy 

"thanks"

"so how are you and Lexa?" wait how would he- octavia obviously told him 

"well its kinda complicated at the moment" 

"you know Clarke, you deserve more than just complicated" i looked to the wet path we walked on

"i don't want things to end between us, but she's making it really hard" Bellamy stopped and i stopped with him, he put he free hand on my shoulder and looked at me

"do you want to come back to mine and talk about it, or just drink?" i smiled and nodded, he is actually really sweet, we walked to his apartment and i looked around, it was a little messy with wooden floors and a damaged leather sofa that was facing a plasma tv

"my room mates out for the next couple of days, you want a drink" she headed towards the kitchen and pulled out a bottle of jack Daniels, he sat beside me on the sofa

"what no glasses?"

"no we don't need them" he took a large gulp of the drink and passed it to me.

Lexa's P.O.V

i walked into Costias office which was very professional, there was full lengthen glass windows with a glass desk and a black office chair and two white chairs on the other end of the desk. costa made her way to her office chair and sat down she crossed her led one over the other, her black skirt ridded up little bit to expose her slender legs. she gently wiped the tears from her eyes as she looked out the large window behind her

"Lexa im so-"

"sorry? what your sorry for leaving me, or lying to me, or pretending you were FUCKING DEAD?"

"i had a good reason" could hear that she was holding back tears from her voice, but i was no where near crying, i am passed that and now I'm pissed

"so you had a good reason for making me believe that I'm the reason you died, you had a good reason for driving me to suicide" she quickly turned her head to face me, she had a shocked and worried expression spread across her face

"you what?!?"

"after you died i tried to kill myself" she stood from her chair and approached me, i was still standing but i didn't move away as she came closer 

"i-i-i didn't know" she place her hand on my arm but i brushed it off "look i will tell you everything" she sat on the white chair and i sat beside her on the other white chair, i leaned back on my chair but Costia was leaning forward 

"your parents found out about me, they didn't want the precious daughter being gay, especially when your family is one of the most famous family in the world"

"yes but they hid me from the media, no one know who i am, so why would they care"

"they care because you need to take over your mothers company one day, and according to your mother, a gay can't do that, anyway she contacted me and told me to leave you, i refused so she made me an offer i couldn't turn away from"

"and what was that"

"my dad got cancer, we couldn't afford to pay for the treatment, so your mum paid for it and in return i had to disappear, she also got me this job so that i could afford to help if my dad ever got cancer again" she placed her hand on my knee which sent shivers up my whole body "look I'm so sorry about what happened"

we stayed silent for a moment, i then suddenly got a text, i looked down at my phone to see it was Clarke, i opened the text and as i read it, tears began to form in my eyes 

"hey, Lexa whats wrong" Costia moved in to comfort me but i quickly stood up and took some steps away from her, i then passed her my phone so that she could read the text 

C - Lexa, im fed up wid ur shit, i talked to bellemy and i ha realised dat i deserve more than a super smoking hot girl dat won't evan talk to me, so fuck you lexa, it over

"Lexa, she obviously drunk"

"yeah, but you tell the truth when you drunk"

"did you love her?" i nodded and i felt Costia engulf me in a hug, and i let it happen and i hugged her back, it brought back so many memories being with Costia. "where are you staying?"

"no where, i didn't exactly think this trip through" she pulled away from the hug but kept her hands on my shoulders

"you can stay at mine if you want, it a bit late to be traveling home right now" 

"thank you" Costia then pulled me back into the hug and whispered in my ear 

"i missed you"
