An Unexpected Death

"I really don't know what's the matter with you." InuYasha yelled.

Kikyo rolled her eyes, then crossed her arms.

"Kagome should leave this school. This school is for good students only, not for flirty ones." Kikyo stated.

"I saw Kagome staring at you earlier, and I have a strong feeling that she's thinking of nasty. I called her mom and told her that." She smirked.

Kagome was absolutely shocked from what she said.

"why would I think of something naughty? I was only looking at him to see if he was okay!" Kagome clenched her fists in anger.

Kikyo smiled, then walked away with no response.

Kagome was really mad. She couldn't take it anymore.

Kagome dashed to her, then pushed Kikyo, making Kikyo fall to the cold floor.

"hey!" The teacher shouted, while feeling a sharp pain embedded on her scratched elbows.

"Shut the heck up Kikyo!" Kagome shouted in anger.

InuYasha followed her, and saw Kikyo on the ground.

"stand up, flirty teacher." InuYasha ordered, helping Kagome.

Kikyo's chocolate brown orbs shook in surprise.

She was never told like that before.

Flirty? Why is she called like that?

She stood up weakly.

"Flirty.. If I really am, then tell me how come!" She stood up then faced the two.

"ha! can't you see what are you doing? Ordering a gang to bully us, licking your lips in the middle of the class while staring at a boy, and telling the boys not to be with any other girls than you, isn't that being flirty?" Kagome shouted, her voice echoing throughout the hallway.

Kikyo felt a large arrow piercing her chest from her words.

She realized what she was doing.

She also remembered flirting with Sesshomaru, the leader of another gang, to have the right to ask him if he and his gang can bully some girl students.

"I.." She bursted out tears, as she ran away.

Kagome and InuYasha watched her disappearing.

"wow. so immature." Kagome wiped her excess tears from the corner of her eyes by her hand, then walked away in the opposite direction of Kikyo.

InuYasha sighed, then followed her.

'Kikyo is really stupid.' InuYasha thought inside his mind.

He started to rewind on how did it happened inside his mind, and suddenly realized that she called them... Love Birds?

"what the hell?!" He mouthed in surprise.

Kagome's attention was caught by him. She turned back, and saw his face flushing red.

"what is it?" Kagome asked in confusion.

"n-nothing."

"are you sure?"

"yes."

"then let's go home."

Kagome held his hand, and walked together, while InuYasha blushed.

"s-so... Kagome..." he rubbed the back of his head, feeling nervous.

"what? about that confession thing? I'm still thinking about it." Kagome smiled sweetly.

"o-oh... o-okay..." he smiled back, then rapidly looked away.

When Kagome was home, she gave him a quick kiss on his lips, then went inside.

InuYasha stood there, still blushing.

The warmth of her lips went through his, which made his heart beat fast.

He shook his head to calm himself down, then went home.

'damn.. is this a strange day or what?' He opened the door, while breathing heavily.

When he opened the door, he saw something lying on the ground; his eyes suddenly bursted out tears.

He saw a corpse lying.

"MOTHER!!!!!!"
