Kagome's life without him

Now InuYasha was facing Kagome, her family, Sesshomaru with their father, and their friends.

"InuYasha, your release was only yesterday, right?" Kagome's mother suddenly asked.

"..y-yeah."

"How many weeks have you been there?"

"..s-six weeks, I guess.."

"You don't know Kagome's life back then." Sesshomaru laughed.

"S-Sesshomaru!!" Kagome blushed madly as she looked down after shouting at him.

"Why not tell your boyfriend, then?" Sango laughed.

"I-I... f-fine.."

{ Flashback }

"It was only yesterday when InuYasha was sent to the jail, yet you're already missing him? Are you insane, Kagome?" Sesshomaru was getting pissed.

"I-I'm sorry, Sesshomaru.. I-I just--"

"You told him that you'll NEVER forgive him! What the hell happened to those words?!" he shouted.

Kagome just quietly sat on her bed as she unnoticed tears running down both her cheeks.

"Yeah. This is what you called me for. To piss me off."

"Why are you mad at me for loving him, anyway?!" she screamed as she took a hard grip at her pajamas.

"Why? Why, you say? You woke up, grabbed your phone, called me to come here, then you just told me that you miss him. THAT'S WHAT MADE ME MAD! Geez, Kagome! He fucked your relationship up! And you still love him even if he already did that?! Kagome! What the hell came into your mind?!" He stood up from the stool, then grabbed his hair in anger.

"YOU'LL NEVER MAKE ME FORGET HIM!"

"BUT YOU TOLD HIM THAT HE CREATED ANGER IN OUR HEARTS! AND YOU'LL NEVER FORGIVE HIM!" he angrily exclaimed.

"...promises are meant to be broken." Kagome whispered.

"..w-what the.." Sesshomaru was speechless.

"So... you still love him..?" he whispered.

"..yes. Yes, I do!" she screamed as she kept looking down.

He just sighed.

After seconds of deafening silence, Sesshomaru suddenly moved her face up to see him, then leaned down to kiss her.

When their lips met, she was surprised.

She was frozen.

The kiss lasted for seconds.

When he pulled away...

"Kagome. This is why I hate you when you love him. It's because... I love you."

"S-Sessho--"

"Please. I can do better than that bastard."

He kissed her again.

But now, she had enough.

She pushed him away from her, which made him fell down on his bottom to the ground.

"o-ow.."

"no. I'm sorry. But InuYasha is who I wanted." Kagome stood up, and walked away from her bedroom.

"Kagome!" he stood up and grabbed her wrist, but he failed because Kagome has enough strength to take away her wrist from his hand.

"Sesshomaru. If you can't help me, then leave."

"But--"

"LEAVE!"

He sighed as he followed what he was ordered.

5 weeks passed after that...

Kagome was all alone.

She just kept quiet in her bedroom.

Sesshomaru wasn't visiting her either.

Only her mother and her friends were the people who took care of her when she needs to eat, or to do her daily routine.

Her face remained it's gloom for weeks.

Since her friends can't handle what's currently happening,

They finally decided to make her happy.

"I'll pay the penalty." Miroku said.

"Aweee. That's Sango's boyfr-- Ouch!" Koga was elbowed on his stomach by Sango.

"H-Hey! Don't do that to him!" Ayame blushed.

"oh... Sorry if I elbowed your... BOYFRIEND!"

Ayame blushed harder.

3 days passed on the sixth week.

Miroku went to Sesshomaru's house, and gave the money for the penalty.

"Invite Kagome. So she can see InuYasha that easily. Oh, and since it was in April, try to prank InuYasha, okay?"

"..I can't do that. I don't want to see Kagome happy in that bastard's arms."

"As her bestfriend, you should do it."

"..fine then." Kagome's bestfriend finally agreed.

"..I feel happy about that." he winked at the lady.

She suddenly felt her face getting warm.

Sesshomaru suddenly did a single cough.

"Sesshomaru! Stop breaking the atmosphere!" Sango crackled her fingers.

InuYasha suddenly laughed.

He stood up,

And held Kagome's hand.

He helped her in standing up.

"Kagome.. Even though you got that fucktard Kagane, and even though you're from a bad family, I still love you."

She blinked.

"what do you mean?" they all asked.

He stopped and released her hand.

"..I-I--"

"spill." Sesshomaru glared at him, which made InuYasha gulp.
